Hi I’m Daniel and I’m going to show you to create an email address using the WebFaction control panel.
To begin, log in to the WebFaction control panel at my.webfaction.com.
Click “E-mails” then “E-mail addresses.”
Click the “Add new email” button.
Enter a local part of the email address, then enter the domain name.
If the address is for a new domain you’d like to add, there’s no need to go to another page.
Just click “Create” and it’s automatically added to your list of domains.
Next, choose where you want your mail to go.
To save mail in one or more mailboxes, click “Yes” and then enter a mailbox name.
If the mailbox doesn’t already exist, just click “Create” to make a new one.
To autoforward mail, click “Yes” and enter an email address.
Need to forward to another address? Just type it in.
You can also set up an autoresponder to reply to any incoming mail.
Or you can send email to a program via standard input.
Just enter the full path to the script in the “Path” field.
When you’re finished, click the “Save” button to see it appear in the list.
And that’s all there is to it.
Thanks for watching.
