Hello this is Jenny with simply beautiful crafts on behalf of expertvillage.com. I'm
going to make a shadow box out of this red tin tray for my gourmet friend. I found somethings
that I thought that will look cute in here and so I decided to just experiment with them.
I got your oil and vinegar bottles fits just right in there. Then this is a herbs and spices
in oil that one would kind of looks nice right there and the ordinary table salt lets see
I think that I like the way that looks and this little cute little sauce dish and then
this lovely silver wine topper and that will hang right there. So I'm going to secure all
of these in here with wire. But before I do that I need to make sure that I can hang this
and that I'm not going to lose it. The back of this tin tray has two little rubber stoppers
at the bottom so I was able the secure a picture hanger at the top using 28 gage wire. Secure
in there and left the tails so you can see that I did that and because of the little
rubber stoppers here and this here it will hang flat against the wall. That should give
me plenty of support for what I'm putting in here. This first ....I will put in here
and then take my silver were and go around near the top of it, go back through the back
holes and secure to it through the back with wire around the silver so it wouldn't show.
For my little bottle for of herbs and spices and oil I would use my copper wire and secure
to the back with some copper wire so it would be less likely to show. Then for my salt I
will also probably use my silver wire and secure it right here and then this tray I
guess that is a sauce bowl I think it is cute and put it right here and use my silver wire
to secure the handle over here on this side. Last but not least this pretty wine top will
secure through the back through the holes. So what will actually will be hanging from
here and then I also take another wire and put it around here so it won't protrude like
that but it will hang straight. If I don't like the way that I have them I can always
take them out and rearrange them and put them in different angles and put them in different
spacing. But I thing that my gourmet friend will enjoy. Especially if his kitchen has
red and black accents and that is how you make a gourmet kitchen shadow box out of red
tin tray.
