yeah
I was a youngster infinitely to us
also
possibly the story
by let me come down
the move a little this way
okay
he's door house discuss
but here situation
at least two very large stories here and of a lot of mail a mellow once only a lot agree
love stories he was the big stories of course
as the law has been stopped
it passes stop by a federal judge
we'll explain
whether her role in the excess or not
I would disagree with parts of it
%um
and I think this kind of in just love it is common
furthermore
%uh the second big story is %uh
that nationalization women
go after Barack Obama
is he sex
i'll cut away at it now
well I can tell
erring on a way of I know that's about it
and I had an interesting take on that to on a little on both sides of the aisle
I love him a pawn in a while
all right but before we do
any of that
are you kidding me
you ready for dramatic news
at us and the city
three o'clock to four o'clock
all week long
I'm come
when you're house
the reason I made a big deal out of it
is is this the whole week
now I'm worried about two shows for them I know how the standard is
this week we get alleging be gentle more
up up
I call the producers I have three words for the don't know what they were
he said
I'm and the crack and let me
I'm brenda that day
and on the road
but it ever there was a time a lot
it's next week
because if we do well in the ratings that sweet
this is you know what the nation needs have denied any more
they will have to do a concession speech at an old to speak for them
but somebody will come on the right
it is true
if you like the army
is too strong
we can see
but and that
I'm telling you that
three o'clock
eastern
all next week on msnbc
I'm a post
I wanted to
we're doing our side as best as we can
I think it'd be terrific shows
I'm a dual Iran's aman do a lot of explanations
of how conventional wisdom is wrong
how a Washington is wrong and I wouldn't begin to fix things
common four
okay
so give me a little
okay
everybody tell your brother tell your and so your uncle's tell everybody you know
three o'clock eastern and SNB see
all next week let's watch
all right
charlie
yes you're on
the job the case
I love it so what if all that the recovery there's product
not clear about it
but I thought I love it if you if you're who cares about me
we got the message and day that's why I'm so excited
not only do it all went to do
but if we succeed
there were to be able to get the message and then
big big way
we got a change
conventional wisdom in Washington
of forced labor
well the main ways to do that is television is going to get on there
yes told reporters
the proposed board over
and get that message out
liz dolan
you tell 'em a little excess
but so that's what's happening is
not now
let's get on to some of the big story
still up federal judge has stopped the that has uttered racial or was it was supposed
to go into effect at midnight tonight
and but already people have been gathering and they were dairy the police to
you know check to see if there were an aggressor illegal immigrants are not
there was a protests a and of course a sheriff over there was an arrest everybody
when you get to that miss acting
and %uh
also the
well just the biggest whole lot
of stopping
I'm sorry no box
if you have to set them off women
that republican hands
%uh so she said
look we got a number of issues of this law
and you know what I
partly that are partly disagree with
so she says
with the party will always win
%uh you know
if you pulled over anybody for any reason you can ask them if they're illegal immigrants
are not that that's going to
is there a lot of
legal
residents here who don't have another paperwork
it's not constitutional
she's against that
I agree with it
number two the pilot says that
the people must there are other papers all the time
he says that's not right
by or later
we want to we like east germany from the race over yet
well Roger the from the old days
but not on over America would carry around our
papers let us crazy
they're about delegates that's the part that you disagree with her on yes got scheck doesn't
work with the way to live
it's the part
the people who are trying to get work in the standing on corners we look for
individual work daily workers
don't have to have a theory in the reputation of legal status
care Jackson he knows his stuff that
but look
here's a huge jurisdictional issue here
should the state be allowed to even deal with these immigration matters at all or should
the the federal government
that's all we really close issue if you ask me
and it might go one way or the other depending on the particular
that part of the law that you're talking about
and I would hear that out a lot more pleasant court would hear both sides is cetera
and that's the real tight issue
but on some of the specifics like a book in Arizona cannot pass a law this is if you're
out in the public sphere
and you try to get a job
I can't have you being an illegal immigrant I might call that
a crime in my state
I think Al yes you can do that
that now my progress appraisal tommy
they're not illegal immigrants their on document
and they're right about that I know because it's technically you know not a crime it's
you just don't have that
proper documents is that it
what what what what what
they're breaking the law
but you say it et come and tell me that I can't pass a law
in my own state that says
this guy was breaking the law
you know stop them if he's a republican of course it's not unreasonable the area
he's breaking a law
so again I disagree with their the second part of history with Iran
but if someone's already been arrested
well that's the in my mind is that wholly separate matter
because that's not pull of people over on the side of the road ahead are you illegal
or are you not only
and that's the not racial so was already been arrested for another crime
they can I do some
checking in to see if they're legal or illegal
I think almost certainly yes
but I know I say yes to that
and I bet you the it up
if that was the law alone
if they didn't overstretched all other stuff
and that was what you call the get what seventy eighty
the ninety percent of the country agree with you on that Wall
forget I am sure that means though some people say no he would it be arrested he shouldn't
that their paperwork
I don't mean this in the logic behind
so and she said
the that you should
so I disagree with her on that
and the reason she says it
is because he says
well then you're going to hold up a lot of legal residents
for a longer period of time while you should checking their paperwork
well then let's get the paperwork work
we've done a lot of the flood that about it
and no I can't have you
he'd been a citizen or anybody in jail
for a week or two weeks or a month later to paperwork now
if that's the case then I put the overall on our side
but assuming that
we do it
expeditiously and and by law you have to
well that's the of course in fact the with it here legally or not
there is a compromise here we can fly I think
whether it's the court society and this
Arizona
the you know sitting there are laws on this or even on a federal scale
all but we're not there yet and so
and what the people
aren't they were there's a law understand what we're actually objecting to
we we can't be east germany
you can go on the people of Hispanic or latino that I applaud your because your blinker
that show me your papers
that's crazy yes on America
but was arrested that's a whole different story
at at on the jurisdictional issues
I'm in a different thing where was it would only occur
I have to have more of it
a not ready to rule on that yet
I love relenting
but that's really a legal issue
the at the year
in to
while fighting terrorism a big case out
before you make a ruling on that because
let me just expand on that just a little bit
now there's a lot of liberal the conservatives a states' rights of course as we should be
allowed to whatever they want
there's also a lot of liberals who agree with states' rights because
they say up
the rights of a gay marriage
states' rights
so that's a complicated issue
that and it's not dozen that celebrate dow's conservative or a liberal
in this case
immigration issues controlled reporters
that's almost foreign policy
that's a very federal issues so i'd be leaning towards the federal government
things like where you you know public areas the JR alluded to know what you do with the
rest of somebody
but first the crimes
that's the a lot
and you know is much more shades of gray in that area
and I might will said
only the most reasonable man in America
well you have decided rescue industries of a little
but the law has been blown now
others who share for up our part
%uh it he was could licking its chops
we can start arresting people
it's a share show he's the *** addresses people up in pink outfits in those the
you know the chain gang in
the entities completely ineffectual
you know
although
you know there was a recent study at on the paper in front of me now but shows that
the results in his tenure worse in other counties missus claus stop those a more right
but he couldn't wait to show what tough guy he is
so let's check in
the groups individuals are gearing up for some civil disobedience at this point is take
it that you prepared for that we do about it
yeah I'm ready for the year
former they want to block my jails
so they want to block the jail to get a little trip in the jail children are going to put
up with any civil disobedience just because they want to show by get the message through
the media about the situation is occurring here in Arizona
it's the law or opposes the water hands in
and some dogs lawyer
sure Joe
reminding that as old as the medium
on track to gulf
I remember that from another
how about that
why don't we hear them out
it's a hit you know what
but I do think and I'm blocking minds yeah
but on the provide an area where they can protest this week we live in America
but if they don't then I cannot be said to what I did do for black men
usually even raising matters because look at
he's almost really not you block right yeah
I got dogs
I know I can end
hispanics a shot at
in a statement
that's correct
it was exactly do you do so
but but at that
and i'd be adding it touch to what he said
but you see my point
it's doesn't seem like he's going to hear that recite it seems like it would lock people
up
the new strategy that has not worked
now we do more on that knit in later in the program because
with tackle the
initiative in giving billions of dollars in Mexico to stop the drug will see about war
you know what look I've been doing a lot on that
look at the numbers today in the store we do in the next hour
I got so mad
they to go on that too
I believe you would sir for years
Ed rendell was on the a morning show the start of pat buchanan
and in that sort of discussion on whether
Obama should be
primary that there should be democratic primary opponent twenty twelve
that if Afghanistan search to get worse and more
so let's show you that Clinton's going to send a comeback for a way
from the President who came into Afghanistan to two thousand eleven two thousand twelve
using an anti-war candidate come in and the democratic party who has ruled that in the
room who can't afford insurance
but on the other hand
the troop withdrawal with the engines were a lot of kids are some signs that we're trying
to get out of their and and I heard
I think you're talking about that if there are only three thousand American troops still
a presence but if we start to begin to reduce our presence I think that's probably enough
keep going
any more DNA evidence remember in Vietnam just get moving
the liability and it was no end in sight with the American people and the lot of our party
seems of the King of rock and roll up to but he doesn't want to hear it
I think that's all nonsense to be honest with you
but you know I was asked about this on the program today that it's that was on Russia
today party America actually
the ownership
they asked me do you think Obama could realistically get in
primary candidate
especially afghanistan's go
why look
the only way to get a real primary candidate against Obama
is it the economy crashes again
and you know
and there's a worst-case scenario et cetera et cetera
otherwise
democrats Mark
ron somebody against Obama
do you know how frustrated I am with Obama
but I need you to keep real right
you know will run against a white dennis kucinich well
and he'll get manhandled you know he may be his eight percent of the vote or something
like that
%uh you know within the primaries ain't gonna happen
and that again
economic crash than that but a wholly different
good question and a different situation is that
upturned all their regular rules right
but as an as I and on the us with the ummah get in your face right
democratic voters I'm hoping of the balls
say all right you know what
Obama didn't work out he was too weak
now will it bring in somebody that legitimate
like Howard Dean
we you know whoever it might be russ feingold I mean makeup anybody you like
we'll bring that gotti and
and we're going to accede in the real run for its money
and we might overthrow him and have a real a different democratic candidate
in twenty twelve
so on likely
near impossible
the the years that
that a this was that that is their war
I don't know about that
in the democrats in a football rep dennis that
it was a story out
yesterday
and it said all did you know funding for the the Afghanistan war might be in question
and so the headlines
I mean you read the story
physically stop getting hurt
but on a waste of stories like that
and and they have the vote
of course the backwash but a three-to-one margin
I like it but often fourteen democrats
no I'm sorry
but he was a hundred and two democrats and twelve republicans
vote against war
the funding the war
at against three hundred and eight I believe it was that
that worked
saying yes we need to fund the war
that's not close your bragging about the always hundred forty eight
well are reported but to get out about them
we have another couple of hundred and we'll have a conversation
that's not a brag about
and by the way do you know about this war
I have a little is before but let me repeat history or back
on clear up
Bloomberg poll
very simply
I did that in a posting surgery up
fifty eight percent of Americans
say that Afghanistan war
it's quote
the loss claus
lost cause eighty percent
I'm telling you in poland fifty eight cities number
sixty percent answer the question
if by July twenty eleven when we're supposed to begin withdrawal
if Afghanistan is just as unstable as it is today
should we start withdrawing
anyway
that's the question
the John McCain's it was a granddaughter op yeah
you're not going anywhere
yet mister if they were all citizens
the American people say oh well what's this is a blow or wrongly italian man sixty percent
saying
we leave
no matter what
that absolute limit is July twenty a lot
that's a huge number
I tell you all that
at as a practice to
the democrats don't give a damn
the that number get up to eighty eight percent are not sure they tear anymore
but look
how many times and reported democrats study all order to get you out of Iraq
and then they got the majority in two thousand six
one which was still in charge did we get out of Iraq
of course we did
democrats say that kind of suffering election time
because they know that's where the voters are
they don't actually ever do that
that to be fair
what they got
everything they want in two thousand eight
and Obama began the withdrawal process in Iraq I mean if he hadn't
I guess that we would have known
he was that
arnaud real ire immediately right
but that's the link widely a long process in which the
not a decline thousand troops in Iraq
now how long ago Obama's it
the presidency a year and a half into it
and in Afghanistan with them
massive sorry that we now have more troops in Afghanistan
than we do in Iraq
and all on the platform more
no more wars
so how's that would change work it out for
I I was I worked
but in some of you might say hey look kids get this out of Iraq good night
I mean if you're paid
but here's what I'm telling
democratic politicians
our candidate and Afghanistan
at least until July twenty eleven
and then the polls are going to be overwhelming at cetera et cetera in the elections there
to come out
and is there to be a little bit of and right
and even then
the public begin withdrawal of a tiny amount of troops
only when you move that kneel before July twenty eleven
is it to get the republicans the point
as the President is not the listener democrats he's not tell us the progress is an interpreter
this the liberals and progress is the liberals in congress are not going to overrule a democratic
President
not
going
to happen
if they tell you they're going through their lying
they're never going to do that
and by the way return continues I I mean out that every one of our listeners
so my friend that was on bill at a show again
saying the same thing
%uh you know a lot of republicans are saying
you know that the in and he quoted a cold forget
but no Bush was to have fighting at terrorist act and sent Obama's do something completely
different
he's the counterinsurgency in
the American people inside up for that
no I can't answer to see is no it's not but no none of that flight
he totally change the war that's what pat said when I was on
that he change the war in Afghanistan is falling apart
now we can be against that
but I'm telling you
that's a good thing
is of republicans want but it
and then Obama will be in a pen
okay
so do I get Afghanistan but our republican friends
what a terrible job Obama's do in Afghanistan
he'd been a real
he put it real
that that
yeah
that were filled have been on the group
you know the least important thing about good at it out of it
ninety nine fifteen that with that of attack
it's important that you of idea is that a lot of the capital where the with he with
that
it's line with ours
the of
your daddy died down service crash for one person
I
I hope
the thing about it because that's not the of Ohio that that's what some thought about
that but that type of thing
the your plan we're going to go down a dark colored a purity programs
use your head
by cancer you know I be given up Obama lot of crap for on banning to the right wing media
nine
have you noticed
%uh but it turns out about a law
well or you know
but here's what surprised
how for
with time magazine of all people
I was the guy who like the is mister
conventional wisdom
mister Washington establishment
mister Wright we talking points
as in that a right-wing party one that has a fallen absolutely
head over heels in love with
hello what he says he says you know what
you're right
old media and I'm quoting him now are often swayed by controversies
pushed by the conservative new media
much more so
he says
than they are by the liberal media
like liberal new media
this is day pay attention to what the concern to me is as what
here's three reasons
he's as quote this concern about not appearing liberally bias
all call on
that's the one I'm telling you all along
and it's true is seen as mister panetta was of thing
are we don't see literally biased so whatever they the conservatives
right well we just put on all the end
but on time magazine and
ABC in every bar out with property you sort of ABC
it's ever right
and then poured over to us so why the things they do that
he says because outlets like Fox news channel are quote commercially successful
so we are left with the impression
hey that works
so if it works for them and we should do it too
well but literally baseball
so as you know what
young person are commercially successful
and that was a few it
companies in the whole wide world
that a are the media organization online
that's a problem
okay that's it that do what we could
I did not do it
we have a huge audience
what did you want to copy us
they but apparently that's how they think he's being very honest about it
is the most
%uh on its that reviewing peace that I've ever read for more upper
rick perry
and so okay
and so we get successful and I don't mean just us I mean all progressive media
apparently that was the north
and and whatever three as he says
on a state that the conservative media will that quote often produced content
that is so provocative an incendiary that the old media finding irresistible
well
we can do that too
if you want us to go down that route
the case
but the bottom line is it's true old me up Washington DC- of force with the President
the list of the conservative media
and million times more than those the liberal media
so there you have it
he admitted by the guy who was at the very heart and center
of that old media
%uh now by the way the you know the conservatives said
we got this drug will this thing you know I don't know if you've been following that
it's the lists are
that media
of people a lot of them are progressive
a journalist so they were the nation mother jones et cetera et cetera right
and they had a list or they would talk to one another
as David corn for mother does put it
it's like this are getting together the barn talking we now because that's that's how people
is spread across the
world now that's how we talk
the daily caller found us know about
lou
she half
except it turns out one of their reports was also
but it but but that aside right
the poll all these in which by the way
force post the all confidential
they the caller
who cares about journalistic standards
confidential source not confidential who cares what does
so they did whatever
and what of the e mails show
liberals on the list or trying so hard to affect the media
and it's all frustrated
because they can't get anything to cross
it affected me at all
so the media was liberal in the first place
how come the liberal spin
the fact that or it was that at all
why does God need a space ship
that doesn't make any sense right
it's a specific examples
so they showed he knows where the these that writers
what did you do a little a light boxes which
is Justice
you know does advocacy journalism even caught in a kind of journalism
but won't admit it they pretend to be
fair enough
these guys a who writes for a little organizations say
why are they able to sing a webber night let's try to cure
folks away from retroactive that's not a real legitimate issue which talk about
the issues in the campaign and center right
and so the consumer see that our hot
what brought media
and because of that
what happened
well be and that is just did a study on it
even though the liberal press tried it
in their mind get rid of the ramrod story
did it work
hell no
or four six
thousand references
the reverend Wright story
in those same months during the election
six
how does it
it didn't work at all all the press that was part about reverend Wright
well there was television that thousand represents
or print which had
five thousand workers forever right
so while the liberal media conspiracy if it's a conspiracy it
what worse conspiracy
in the history of the world
the reality is
Mark halperin is of course right
what the mainstream media to pay attention to
if conservatives
one of the things they complain about may one of these e mails they got from journalists
up all
they're mad about lot of questions George stephanopoulos that
it was not a right
and you're trying to lose
stephanopoulos and they could
you know actually it was then same debate
stephanopoulos ask the question
you're actually planted
by sean hannity
John hagee said hey what I ask you about the lawyers
and seven out was the next day comes on that's about bill ayers in the middle of a presidential
bid
you see how much more powerful the conservative media is
and if you look at those so-called school on this journalist
you realize oh my God
this liberal media
it's actually kind of sad
it's depressing
they have almost no affect whatsoever
they're being themselves against that
by the way of course to serve the media being what it is
they came out with a so-called confirm list of the people that are on journalists
I am apparently guilty as charged
I could island to be part of this me
media outlets there
confer
for
except of course
I'm not on
I was never on journalists
he just made it
it would still take a stand
it did not do in journalism
at least a little guys
the are bring it back to saying this is my perspective on
because our guys like the one we need to make a
by take the record no journalists go up
okay
you know I was I was on the list of in cool
but it
but but I wanted
I always like to be a sort of the enemies list
but what I am really flattered by
is that the guy was making up that list for whichever mister web site started I saw for
republicans are a couple of places
if there's a liberal media conspiracy who would be involved who would be in love
thank you
that's a wider is God and analysts
so thank you
I appreciate that
it's a sign of respect I guess
but I wasn't on it he made it
not the journalist didn't exist
so called confirm list of the conservative website said
total lie
hopefully with the young turks a success
we would oppose the old be in the same way
but which is what
I add a word
so now on
the the we had
the finance reform passed
and so
we told you at after past
but the main issue was
%uh they've taken over the regulators right and we have to see how the regulators do now
%uh because %uh
or is it since the like this
SEC this is trees exchange commission
commodity futures trading commission et cetera
they have all these different most to write in fact
the Korea legislation those bodies have to create
two hundred forty three new financial rules
and commission sixty seven study that's a lot of work
the SEC has
ninety five will see it come up with
to regulate in the the financial industry
by themselves but it just that or is a slow
so what's going to happen
here come the lot
they watered it down watered it down ticket over the regulators
during that
legislation effort
now that it's law
they're going to go over and tried it commits all those regulated not to regulate
so here comes the heart
first of all
it is a study done by the center for responsive politics
we they show that
why hundred officials
have already gone through what they call the revolving door
between government financial agencies
and the private sector
five hundred
of those a hundred and forty-eight of that
in the last year alone
from just the executive branch
working on financial issues
so then the white house got here is our report on XYZ
but there are a lot of door
very nice job
in within one year
is now working
for the private sector that they were just regulate
for all lot higher salary
now what do you think their senators
the right really tough rules
all right really soft rules
for the guys with it
all about the higher
anything this revolving door is done
all day just getting warmed up
spoke
%uh nearly a hundred fifty this year
in guarantee it'll be someone other than a year after
and everybody in the government right now all those regularly regulators at the SEC
et cetera
they all know
if you're a good boy is that
big that paycheck waiting for you
but if you don't play ball
and you might not get that job for two three four times as salary
now how do you think they did you
my guess is
pretty poor
that's why we need to make it
clear in the legislation
what the rules were
instead we popular over there
and those guys and yet bought that
but our government doesn't work man a killer
now let me go to a so-called independents and democrats
talking about
that cuts for the
richest people in America
that's all supposedly democrats all of us will stand up
for the average right
the and kent conrad is supposed to be
the fiscal conservative who cares about the budget
and balance
as you can see from this clip
also kent conrad cares about is protecting the rich
so all that talk about balancing the budget
that's going to fly out the window when he's got to do this
of bodies that the top two percent bracket
a tax cut with us
but number
what's more important to you that the revenue that he would generate
by letting him
not expire on the wealthy for the damage it would do to the nation economic recovery if
you raise taxes what should we do what are you going to push for
first of all let me say that up our deficit situation is a combination
of our spending
in our revenue
the the hard reality is we are at the highest level of spending as a share of our gross
domestic product
fifty years
our revenue is the lowest it has been as a share of gross domestic product
in fifty years
so look we've got a revenue problem anna spending problem
I would agree with Senator gregg
that the solution
why is
mostly on the spending side because if you look at
the long-term sit the circumstance we confront
%uh you going to have to do more of the facts on the spending side
look with respect to other question of the expiring
tax cuts
the first priority is to extend the on the middle class
we should not have any tax increase on the middle class
they are right already overly burdensome
with the economic downturn
number two
the general rule of thumb is you don't cut spending or raise taxes
in the midst of a downturn
this downturn is still continuing one in every six Americans is either
underemployed or unemployed
so we got to be very careful with the timing of what we do there's no question in my mind
that taxes have to go up
on the wealthiest among us
the question is women I don't think
this is the moment
I I you see that
so for so much of anything that way women he makes sense
have it is spending have it is right now
well that's certainly true
and we're at an all-time low
a for revenue in fifty years
and we're an all time high for spending I thought is that middle-class first
but the fifth
in the middle of a economic downturn
you know with one out of six people who either unemployed or underemployed
well obviously we can't cut
that we can
raise taxes
for the richest people in the country
because you see how that would affect
the one in six people who are
on or underemployed
one of those two things that you want
of course
that republican ideology that kent conrad buys into is
no they have everything to of one another
if we
have the rich pay taxes
well then they can I read it
i'd say one in eighty eight prefix go because we gave the massive tax cuts the rich
and that's what caused that I don't like in that first life
that's what caused the crash in the first place
but it's not that cape cod as that time
is that he's disingenuous
he has a really believe that
he just thinks apple as men
the rich are the ones who paid your mind
%uh %uh campaign contributions in February elected
somebody come out with a lot of pretty excuses
we're saying now
we should keep the Bush tax cuts
the last thing I was duplicity
all that no a you know
the wishes focus on the spending side not on the revenue side
that's all what is there any sense
he just said to be in their equally important and the logic of course they're equally important
why can't we could of folks on the revenue side
and then he says all the spending is a real problem
for the wars
once you've never paid four
that's the one trillion dollars reported paper Wright episode
now now now
yes can't comment about that of his republican bodies
they're not that
that doesn't count either
so worried I get it from
you get the money
from cutting
for the local at a lower classes
that and and middle class
so security Medicare it's there
they're all
I know why of course they're all of course they're all the city
predicted now
%uh let's go to it's being disingenuous the King of the subject
I'm being very polite let's go to quit the report Joe lieberman who say the same thing
please please please
it worked cuts for the rich
it's being discussed on hearings from time to time and I do believe that this occurred
at the
ahead of the Fed may have been a key of suggested that maybe the tax cuts to the a kept in place
Bush tax cuts for another two years of where are you on that and what's the talk
Iraq I don't know that these several groups
said that by going in
somebody to listen to and and and that's what I heard from what is said number one
and this is really a on settling said the the economy is
a of America
the it was going to do in the them
coming months
is unusually on
certain by an electoral commission chairman of the fruits of that system you we got to
be really cautious
because we want to do anything that would put the economy into a second
because more a loss of jobs
our and that's the way I approach that the tax court
in the %uh we got a long-term debt problem is for nineties
and we've got to bring begin to bring our government back in a balanced program long
term it's going to mean to even as were people with higher income levels
but I think right now is we're trying to come out of the recovery
you would be a mistake %uh I don't know whether two years or six months whether it's year
but could that could just of holdover the tax cut so there's no money
in the hands of people in
small businesses which create most of the jobs
a lot of people are in those upper brackets really small businesses and jettison get the
economy stronger before we start raising taxes
of course no you about that
bring the tax rates to what the war for on the rich before Bush
cut them back
no no not right now no
here's the second level of disingenuousness there that let me explain with it
it's not just that he's just telling you it would be too late or come back to it later
is that that legislation is coming up now
once a vote yea or nay on that they come back to it
and then come back to it for a long long time
and lieberman knows that
this is his way of preparing to be in favor of that in the long run
but in reality
maybe sure
that is rich bodies
to keep their tax cuts
that cause the six hundred seventy eight billion dollar hole
in our budget
I can't repeat that enough to you I know you probably didn't cigarette now right
the
and this is what I what I think this is what we want to talk about on national television
we get a little bit on the reading show
I wonder what all next week on msnbc
what these guys to put any be in favor of cutting the debt deficit and the debt are
lying they don't care about that at all
and what is he doing does all the republican tricks Hillary Clinton independent
well it is about moment
no it's not but the richest people in the country
but some small businesses in that bracket
yet that's the caribbean
think three years as it is all about small businesses
now it's going to also that walmart and the walton family
and all the people in connecticut taking your financing
come on get real
but the most dangerous part of that are the reason we played it for you
it did you notice that little warning it through the mail
he did and that's what I'm here for
well we would want to raise taxes now
anybody
if we did it might lead to its second day
you get what they're setting up
get rid of the Bush tax cuts that turned out to be disastrous
and you raise the rates back to where they were under Clinton
which by the way are commonly was booming at that time
you can't do that
and the economy crashes
that was obviously your fault
raising taxes
the reality is if the economy criticism all
definitely because Obama
tough enough on Wall street
but you think that that's a that all
course not
they say the exact opposite
they sent them off for moment
there's another article of the President
press today
about how
after air tankers
this up
the financing has gone through the roof campaign contributions
is he would the Wall street
they call the Wall street gains dealers said
literally qualities that you get buyer's remorse from the democrats right
give the money to the republicans
and will make sure
to look out for you
business interest across the country
to make sure you guys create more jobs
and what happened after that
eric cantor is a
campaign contributions
from the financial sector alone
when up four hundred sixty thousand dollars
that increase of thirty two percent
and and other or up
article you see the Wall street journal the Washington post
showed how the democratic party financing
way down
from the financial sector for where what's
so what one of the Wall street guys don't
they're punishing the democrats
and they're warning to republicans for being a part all
if you're Obama
it's the same lesson
over and over same thing with a Wall street
I'm sorry with them
Fox news as this
you try to be nice to the bankers
the game a really week sauce reform package
and what happened
they took their money away
anyway
begin to the republicans anyway
and then all those articles
saying the UN the business
anyway
you're not going to appeal
is that
all you're doing is setting yourself up for a second crash
which they'll blame on you
for the exact
opposite reason
say BTU tax the rich too much
and that you income burden
business by be anti-business
as cetera
what do you know find out
that fighting in getting real reform passed
his and million times better strategy
it and my mom came up to me and she said that she hadn't signed up for membership on the
on tech stock on the actions that
did the union address but I feel it's okay isn't inside up for membership you can access
our archives and watch out for months ago
but the young turks on
that puts our consulates to its feet
pre-trial membership for you
you win you get it all the night I says in your pockets of fremont
we win do that sponsor nepalis listen to their customers
what are you crazy to get it
%uh dollars
all right that in turn identity with of up officers that level of course can't wait a
minute
every off is a colonel
but I know that before you know I'm not sure I ever that's other thing before I might've
ones but I'm I'm not positive
but that colonel Paul absolute pleasure to have you ever wanted orders
the that the lieutenant still military for a broad barbour
it's an improper
but you're at
go about all
%uh %uh members make the show happened
and %uh we really appreciate all the blue chip in a little bit more
and them
and of course all the members get the three hour show you can podcasting time they like
we remembers only today I think the numbers only today we have a all some conservative
who claims to be as Gates visited hasn't interesting revelation
I think he had that founders that clip that i'd picked up on a plan to some point probably
the post
but one other thing
yes it's post and
for a one hundred stories with the softening of thing
oh absolutely it's a nice person
both the way that the island and of no the be exciting conclusion of this also this history
I I would really think and I hate to do this he is crying a lot of people don't get the
membership for a lot of reasons that I don't blame you know we love everyone watches this
show
I mean I'm very hopeful about that
but anyway we do want to get some extra of course for people and a so
and I really thought are members only yesterday my to be better than the rest
all right I have a lock on it was an old-school man it was his that
every exciting conclusion this office stories in today's political by with that
I I on has and all fighting
helen is in spain which makes it a
as he bridges the story
super Tuesday
I mean you think anything
you know Paul fighting dog but outline has outlawed it now it is a legal and it wasn't
even something that was a big deal in catalonia to begin with people were really
%uh going to the bull fights there was only one rain
where bullfighting happened and it was rarely sold out
so on
they're hoping that this is going to set an example for the rest of spain and for other
parts of Europe but still practice both fighting
abortion one of the things that a lawyer so how to speak
that back because it's such a major cities thing
%uh but
that he had about a thousand ballots in a year in spain
before fighting
but only fifteen of them were in barcelona
he's so there was not a region this thing where they had more bullfighting but it's
good
the panel is a couple of implications lot of course ran all right
and the other is war
catalonia wanting to be more independent from the right suspect
the people who are Spanish nationalising ours is terrible
I can't believe you would do this of
they need to get with the russes spain and killed both left and right
it totally on very much
hi
I you know I wonder I just wish that rent
they've really I guess they would for the matador
these are the right symbol for of course I'm for the ball
I'm of cooper's
you know all the things they do ball but before and you know that's the attitude
drug you'd need to all these things
before you can get them
it's the most on they're going to work
okay you look at all these the words that you see out there some way for you
and don't forget that notes that of
an AU risible on then i'll refer you
okay
but in these circumstances
i'd love it here over that one way
the matador ran for his life
let me get hurt
if you ran for the
%uh we have a
who baloney
great
several far
I in scotland that he is offering a free beer to prior week
%uh for any individual who gets the bars logo tattooed on them
i'd be it's ingenious personal opinion discussion favor
that's my by for scotland
but second of all
Spitzer who is smart idea for the bar
I mean all that one or two drinks a week that across that much
and these guys are walking billboards the
number two
not a very good idea for the it
the name of the bar is brewed on
yet you have to be
really ended the year
and
not that rich
okay
if you're a fan and they were there for a beer to a week
for however long it lasts one of the bar goes out of business they fear
it's the liveliest that that that
that as disaster there
yeah I've thought about in particular key
no I don't
well right now in courage it cannot up I wouldn't like to thank you
now
but but get the island a that that
maybe I should
I yesterday that CEO that said
but our logo it's been an absolute amid a in atlanta
she wanted to be
that's that
do whatever you
the
yeah major now the case is specious
you like the that that deal I teach that
I wouldn't rule it out
why'd you know what basis and I both get video
that's probably with it
I know what the same thing
and at school
at it
in the with us
all right
well yes that's right catherine
we have is it down
well we're talk
all right
we have a cute little at all it's a hydrant update on it is it that
as chief of staff way off use of the product rule the pop group
is this complex was busy birth and not use get it on
quite often it this isn't the first case it happens at the time which I think is interesting
this is the berkeley the docket is about the big as it were
who stated was cast
well site
and is that a female melt on key no I don't but I say like he's a white male body is there
and as the breath updated and ours is the burden mails get this about that what was
it that you know
coming into our territory for not now when
that would be a great
the sociological experiment
that would be it's usually the whole bunch of them in one area see what happens
and i'd like to see you with a fight between the documents
my guess is the dog
my guess is that that gives them like a tactic or whatever it is the burroughs up and then
he it's a in a disease or what
it's fascinating stuff
that you know somebody wrote in one of the yukon you check is not a buy-out
correct the Monday
I'm not out that the bottling are not apply to second-guess I do what would we do studies
and we our interpretation of the study that are we
know what that results of the study at least share with our audience and and week on inside
and you know how are they not an outside chance now we're not thank you
what's your point
good point
I can't that nineties the almighty defiant at stake
they come in
analyze the also act
well we can read the results of the studies and probably tell you what they are
the high the way it is I guess the tel aviv
what is the Don King
it's right there
excuse me but to me
it's got people as it looks like a giant as up not scientists that you're not allowed
to say that
got yeah
I'm a talk show host not a scientist
now what is the dop looks like and that's what's left
so I read bring it down
thank you thank you
if you want one the will bring a scientist and he'll tell us that the but he's not the
zebra mussel the I everybody happy now
I
of may be going to vote for
mister goldberg
%uh Chris seconds into their financial trouble
that's that's the trouble the better
eleven million dollars of its the IRS
that's their tank get tickets Africa what
aren't you
what
what are you doing
I could never understand it
I want to give you an idea of how much money of it because maybe like hell
and he did make that much money from the movies and he was looking beyond his means
no he made a lot of money for the movies
that sound to you
twenty billion that twenty million dollars
he's out there
the movies that the only twenty minutes
I address our three
twenty five million dollars
here's a look at occurred in the it's a fascinating story
it because he held about he held hostage he said look
yes we did not have a question or two with that
movies it's not that make
now in the other movies we can take that
because I was critical of rush hour
he burned a lot of bridges
and so you know he'd been had
well what I understand from articles I've read
and of more trouble getting movie roles later
but he was right he could make a movie without
so is it I don't care bomb a five million dollar actor in your estimation are family
I watched one evening
and I know you're going to make money off this
will be and that's why a lot of it
any held hostage anyone
the him twenty nine
it was very brief
he won again
that twenty five million dollars
I don't know if the
it was worth it to burn all those bridges in hollywood
but I mean in some ways you gotta get higher that was well planned
our goal is not well play
is when you have all that money not paying your taxes
that's disaster
of abuse get his advice from wesley snipes
but but but
this is not the way to go
here's what the federal government's interested
your taxes
and accounted for
they're not gonna let you go
they're not going to walk away from it eleven million dollar tax bill a less
you're a banker
but that the but you're not
so get used to that
so that is an oral trials I don't know the thought of that money
I
let me see
how do you allow that to happen to you live
it's that eighty building here
it might add
the panicked about stuff like that
I
sure
I am stunned in place
yes
it's interesting
and so I think it might
little bit of trouble in nineteen seventy eight thirty
we'll go to a break
that's right you're right bernie
like that like that
tell it like that is the exact same way like that it still has is tax documents from nineteen
twenty one
but he has also a it's tempting to grow is like a bloody the IRS accommodate a lot like
tax documents provided with one
if you're a cop nineteen twenty four
twenty fly look at that now I think we're all day long
but he has all of that he tried them on crazy stuff continued
interestingly enough
he did a document from like the eighties recently
of real yet what was the
I remember when it was something something that had to do with one of his rental properties
the media
you know that document that
that is of a of the taxes he's wrong
yes the room for seven years
after that be can on
they can't go back past seven years
I would say about them always nervous a mixed seven
I mean this year not counting this year
right but was he collecting eight years and beyond
I love her
but I don't burn baby burn
but that because
but this clutter
I'm sure it's not exactly right
well I think it added on what I was doing my taxes
so I think like
every year they do it
there was two thousand two
what did she get out of the race
but to it
so a Chris
you got it fixed
so what does that mean that if the IRS impact on to this
for seven years they can go back in
that's absurd
well with the the no on a show like for example
he owed to the that
four million dollars in two thousand one
but why are we so stressing that
this economy time
%uh you see what I'm saying
and then that he carries oh
but if they had if the start of the case today the make profit couldn't go back to two thousand
one
I don't take my advice is legal advice state
siege for a legal advice damage and of no longer lawyer of a talk show
hello and that I can tell that bank and get what they don't like taxes
well given that get a little
I'm still Clinton well let this one go go go
%uh raddatz in italy a that italy
just spent forty million dollars on vacation home in italy
on that you know we go out some race against that
the you know what appears to be rich folks in this country
I keep telling the people will believe it
it's republican should day
it's just that the bankers are putting it all up and take their money it's that simple
doctor make some money makes a lot of leverage with that you know with it
I don't have all those shows companies robbing us to get richer
that's different
bill Gates speaks about it but okay
brad pitt and alito the new movies
God bless their hearts that that's what it does
but I want it
reemphasize
furthermore
I'm actually incredibly and
unlike got me that
what's in these the end
and and I want to be clear on the record
i'd like to be
i'd like to have a forty million dollar house
but I wouldn't get it legally that house that a to me
so there was no that's ridiculous and tell them yes
you're probably right
I thought
I'm a human being
if you cut the new line up please
when I see pictures of forty million dollar houses am I not at me
I am
that be great
you know one of my favorite things to do is watch those shows I don't know what which
network it's on or not but it's one of those shows where people go looking for houses to
buy
and it's not just one episode where a couple was looking for for of the occasional degrees
and they were
finding these amazing
buildings that were built
hundreds of years ago
and it's amazing history the architecture on not
and monitoring team reached like by a random
the cajun dome agree
I don't like recess a little question will but
outside of that I totally agree
what am I think think one of the reasons that led to the richest homes I know what I love
the idea of having you know like these of course of
I don't know what everybody wants and I think most people think that's that's you know you
see these pictures and
let's play
can you do much with
this though
I mean if you don't live there are a few good twice a year something
and then to us what it is understand that
like general has and
the same car collectible what cars for I completed the stand
I know it isn't right
each one each day of the week
but I think it's also
but I can imagine having ten homes a lot I would never use the on Monday the first such
a waste of money exact opposite
I I think the eighteen cars or twenty forty eight her while
why
they've tried those present a seven-year the rise
collecting dust
just so you can feel that
I know it's it's sort it's all a matter that's right
but for many doubt but different worlds
I had the street
the one a retired I'm writing books
and I would of the them about how did in colorado up
I heard it
but but the trick is
yet her in the month
but day he got to do right
the do right here in the money God bless your heart
if you get a key to get there you are
you're on the gifted and they worth it
and so
that and some people their case but when he says we need a house would like nitpicking
bedrooms not right in chairs with that right
me a lot but i'd I've seen a different arena
correct
how do you do that
cabinet I parked their case that
but they stay
but again what did he do wrong
the case they got to get there
but can you really use them
I think it's I think it's the exact same argument
with the cars the contract is good
the somebody dusty some these positive best
picking usable did on his administration houses
let me just read to us and three
but the liberation
but it in my dream I'm retired I'm writing books I'm going to new Jersey and go to miami
and go to colorado come in LA and it's got an apartment in new York
and a out limited up by this he broke a you take action
that's me think that
we all agree
our yorker
