My name is Wes Rhodes, I'm from the Chinese Kung Fu Academy and for Expert Village, and
this is mantis fighting technique inside block low side kick. Now this is a technique you
need to make sure you do the block first, but as you block you sit back, kind of make
a low stance to get a low center of gravity. You're going to pick the knee up and drive
the side of the foot into the lower leg. Looks like this, is a one two. Kind of fast is one
two. Now this kick, like any side kick, it doesn't matter how high you kick or how hard
you kick because the leg is a very easy target. I'm going to show you a demonstrate. As you
step in and punch, I sit back as the punch comes in you pick the leg up, and drive the
foot either to the knee joint or to the lower part of the leg. I'll show you one more time,
one two just like that. Little faster, one two just like that. This technique can be
done either side with either hand, so if you punch with the right I can block with my right
and still use the same technique. Now when you kick, you want to try and make sure you
hit with the blade of the foot which is the lower part of the foot right next to the heel.
