Hello, this short video will show you how to
turn on the closed captioning feature inside eCollege.
Or in Class Live Pro inside eCollege.
So, to turn this feature on or off, click on
tools, closed captioning, and then
show status of participants list.
When you do that you will see
that you have a button here
and you can turn on or off for each individual
participant in the class. Once you
turn this on, here in the row
for the participant, that allows that individual
to actually do the closed captioning, to actually type in
the closed caption window. If you
notice that when you turn this on, you get this
button here. This button allows
the participants to select
to view the closed captioning.
It doesn't necessarily give them the permissions to enter the captions,
type the captions in, but it allows them to view the captions as the course
progresses. Anybody that is in the class
can go in and view
the closed captions as they are being done in the
class. But only the person with this button
turned on in their row will have the ability
to actually type the captions. Ok,
I hope this explains the closed captioning. If you have any questions
