What's up everybody, Destin Legarie here for IGN News.
Killer Instinct has been announced exclusively for the Xbox One during Microsoft's E3 2013
press conference.
The game will feature completely redesigned characters like Jago the ninja who has moves
that are a lot like Ryu from Street Fighter, Saberwulf a man who's cursed with the disease
Lycanthropy which makes him a wolf, and Glacius, an alien whose attacks are ice based.
The combo system looks like it's been revamped, but we'll let you know more about how it feels
when we have had some hands on time with the game.
Ultra Combos were confirmed by the announcer who sounds a little bit different but that
typical Killer Instinct title screen and Ultra Combo shout still makes me excited to throw
down as soon as it's released.
Later in the show they also revealed that an exclusive Killer Instinct Mad Catz fightstick
will also be made available for the game though pricing and the release date also wasn't mentioned.
The original Killer Instinct hit arcades in 1994 and the games sequel Killer Instinct
2 hit arcades in 1996. No word yet on when Tusk, Fulgore, and Black Orchid will be announced,
but for more on Killer Instinct, be sure to keep it locked on IGN.
