The foot placement that you'll need to do a nose pivot will be, you'll have to focus
all of your weight on the front of the board, so your front foot is very important. What
you are going to want to do is hang your toe and have your foot slightly pointed forward.
The reason for this is that after you've gotten into the foot position or the backside nose
pivot you use your heel to lock in, but then when it's time to get back out you want to
change the weight onto your heel. The diagonal foot position, like this, works best for both
of those positions. Your back foot you're going to want to put just above the back set
of trucks, or your back two wheels, and you're going to want to put a little bit of toe hanging
off the edge. This is usually common with any back side nollying or weight on your front
position. Then when it comes time to get in the twisted position that you are going to
be in for the back side nose pivot you'll be able to force the back foot and to get
this turning and then come in forward. That's the proper foot positioning for the nose pivot.
