the "Cor" (one of the races in Vietnam) father and son to re-integrate with their village people after 40 years uncontacted in jungle.
How they could survive and live in a dangerous place under severe weather?
It takes 5 hours to wander up hill and down dale, finally the village youths reach the living area of 2 jungle men,the dad Ho Van Thanh and the son Ho Van Lang.
Their house is built on a big tree at 5 meter height to prevent wild beasts.
To survive in the jungle, they planted rice and manioc, reserved dry provisions by themselves, looked for foods from jungle vetables and animals.
Their lives have been isolated completely for last 40 years.
It is very hard to approach the jungle men since they are so sensitive with the present of mankind. They try to run away.
They are still wearing loin-clothes when the group come. The son is still healthy, the dad needs assistance from doctors to be sent back village.
A local youth: With the direction from many local support groups, Civil Defence, Youths and Police, we decided to send them back their original village successfully.
Villagers said that the dad has another son, Ho Van Chi who lives in Tra Phong Commune, Tay Tra Dist.
Finally, Chi now reunites with his dad and brother after many years. Ho Van Chi: I am so happy, thank you a lot!
It was also told that, 40 years ago, in Vietnam War, his house was bombed and his relatives were killed too.
Ho Van Thanh got into a state of panic, he brought his 1-year-old son to jungle without a single trace.
Serveral days ago, while tilling their fields in the jungle, villagers detected the jungle men and reported to local goverment.
Due to the isolation, they cannot speak national language any more, but can babble some mother language Cor words...
