If you use WHM/cPanel to manage your servers Anturis monitoring commes in very handy.
Let's see how
Anturis WHM plugin is installed the same way as other WHM plugins
Here it is.
Now we create new Anturis account right from the WHM console
00:32 - >>> And will connect our 1st server to Anturis
Once we do it, Anturis automatically sets up monitoring of the server resources, Apache,
FTP, DNS, cPanel itself and so on.
Now we can get into Anturis dashboard by clicking this link
As you can see, Monitoring is configured automatically and started.
00:57 - >>> You can now see real-time status and historical
data
Let's connect the 2nd server to the same Anturis account
Configuration is retrieved from WHM and we see the 2nd server appeared on the Anturis
dashboard
It only took us 2 minutes to start monitoring the servers
Let's now put one server down and see how we get an alert
This emails lists all the problems caused by the failed server
INSTEAD OF: Configuration is sunchronized between WHM and Anturis
>>> So, the Anturis WHM plugin let's (OR allows?) you start moitoring with zero manual configuration
