First place I would advise people to start is by understanding, well what makes
your organisation unique?
What value do you have to offer that is different from other organisations in
the market
and then based on that value proposition
How are you going to actually build relationships? How will you manage those relationships?
How will you form an understanding of the needs of your clients?
so that you can actually translate that back through your value proposition
and explain that to people quite easily.
My other peice of advice to people who are looking to build these sorts
of relationships
is to just try, start small
start small,it may even be as simple as
simply providing access to information
or knowledge and from there small
iterations will grow, you can't rush the growth of a relationship, you can't rush the
growth of trust
but if you invest you will be return.
