Alright, so with these noodle bowls, maybe like three-fourths of a pound is all you need.
That's about...that much. Alright. Maybe wheel-wedge that a little bit. By that, I mean what you're
doing is just taking a little bit of clay, forcing it up, forcing it down, trying to
eliminate any inconsistencies that may be hidden inside that ball of clay, whether it
be a fold, or an air bubble, or a rock, or a piece of a screw. Anything could be in this
clay. You want to make sure you find any inconsistency before you start throwing, because once you
start throwing, you won't be able to go back. So now that I've got that wheel-wedged, I'm
going to flatten out the top, and we're going to get ready for a thumb plunge.
