So we were in a cafe with a colleague he was on crutches at the time
and they were just a nightmare there was nowhere to put them. If you leant them against something
they'd end up falling over
or if you put them on the floor one of us would trip over them when we got up
we were getting really fed up with them and we just thought
what you really want to be able to do is hook them over the chair back behind you
that way you can still reach them but they'd be out of the way while you're sitting
down
Bridgit
is like a little bridge between your walking aid in the world around you
we designed it to be double ended so that you can use it with either one or two sticks
it's quick and easy to attach and will fit all crutches and walking sticks between
nineteen to
twenty two millimetre diameter. You can use the hook feature
to hang your stick over the chair back or arm where you're sat down
or you can rest it on the edge of a table. If you're using two crutches
Bridgit has a unique feature where the clips are angled
that means that when it's attached between the two sticks
it puts them into stable X shape so you can rest them against a wall or a table
and they won't fall over. The key benefit of Bridgit is being able to put your walking sticks
or crutches safely out the way when you're not using them so getting over the hassle of continually having
to pick them up after they've fallen over
Bridgit does this in such a way as to be able to keep your walking aids within your reach
so that when you do need them again you won't have to ask someone to go and get them for you.
