Welcome to another installment of The Financial Literacy Video Blog. I’m Robert Yawe, Financial
Literacy Coach with Quadrant Shift Africa. In this installment, I’d like to look at
the differences that are actually lifes A lot of people walk around with a Standard
Template. A “One-size-fits-all” solution towards how you can achieve fitness, financial
literacy, financial independence, career growth. But most of the time, we keep forgetting that,
no two people are exactly the same. Not even identical twins. They all have their differences,
both physical, psychological. Now, while we walk around and give people
a “One-size-fits-all solution”, then we fail them. Yes, certain basic principals apply
across the board. For example: Reduce your expenses. Live within
your means. Save. Invest. Create a passive income. All these are part some of the rules
that you can apply to achieve financial independence. But how you apply the rules is very different.
Some of us have extended families to take care of; others have siblings to take care
of. Others got married early. Some have dual-incomes; some might even have triple incomes. And the
strategies you use for each one of these positions are different. But it is essential for you,
as an individual, to know what is your situation. Then from that position, you can plot your
journey towards financial independence. Thank you for watching this installment. I
