Raddy: Hold on a second, because my kitty went somewhere, but I do not know where ..
Raddy: Hold on a second, because she disappeared somewhere, and recently ...
Raddy: Holy sh*t, the other cat now come to my place...
Raddy: And fans insulted me like a wild pig, really ..
Dominik: There, in the countryside, garbage disposal is still a problem?
Raddy: It's OK now. I gave the guy a shirt and he said that ...
Raddy ... there will be no problem. Every single rubbish will be taken.
Raddy: So far I can not complain, everything is fine. Only cost me a shirt ;-)
Dominik: Have you met Robert Lewandowski in Znicz Pruszkow, have you played together?
Raddy: I'm not sure exactly two seasons ...
Raddy: Hold on a second, because my kitty disappeared somewhere, and she...
Raddy ... recently becoming dangerous when I'm home alone ;-)
Raddy I don't know exactly how long, but we were together in Znicz.
Raddy He then had a problem with his leg, came from Legia Warsaw.
Raddy: But we've never played in 1. League together.
Dominic: You know him personally?
Raddy: Yes, because we played together in 2. League and later in the Poland U-21 team.
Dominik: How is it that you've come to Nottingham?
Raddy: There were interest from Nottingham and Watford.
Raddy: I had a little time to think - an hour or two.
Raddy: I had to go back with my manager to Poland, and it turned out ...
Raddy ... that he came back, left me alone, and I didn't know English at all.
Raddy: He left me at the hotel on my own and cell phone.
Raddy And he left me a book, and this book was that I did not even opened it!
Raddy: You know, lost in new city, new country...
Raddy: I didn't know what to do, how to behave..
Dominik: Do you remember that July 23rd 2009? First match and goal in 2nd minute.
Raddy: It was a derby match. I was, no ***, enter the pitch and there...
Raddy: ... 30 000 people, I've never played before in such an atmosphere!
Raddy: We've played home that match. Such an uproar that I got shivers up when the first whistle blew!
Raddy: And then a goal - I didn't know what to do! People reacted as they'd come in and wanted to hug me!
Raddy: Great moment! The more that I showed up immediately with a good hand in front of Forest fans.
Dominik: You have to feel good there, because you've sign a new 3,5-year contract recently.
Dominik: Got a big raise in payment? ;-)
Raddy: The owners from Kuwait are generous when they're investing in team.
Dominik: But you get more than Dwaliszwili in Polonia Warsaw when Wojciechowski was the chairman?
Raddy: Sincerely, I could get more if I had not been in Forest ;-)
Dominik: Tell me, Davies brough you there?
Raddy: Yes, yes.
Dominik: Cause you upseted him once, after hard tackle on Taarabt and red card after it against QPR.
Dominik: Did he punished you?
Raddy: Yes, he did. It costed me two wages and three matches suspend. And after it he didn't want to talk to me ;-)
Dominik: You've probably seen those movies like "Green Street Hooligans and so on...
Dominik: It really looks like this? I mean trainings in Premier League - do you fight in mud and rain, almost killing each other?
Raddy: When I was comming here, first 2 seasons I was practicing in protectors.
Raddy: You could be friends, but outside the pitch. Here everyone is fighting for a place in team.
Raddy: "Green Street Hooligans" was, if I remember well, about Millwall fans
Raddy: So when we went there, I was on a bench that day, and their fans're insulting me like a wild pig!
Raddy: Cause they were just 2-3 meters from me.
Raddy: But there're no fights on stadiums - I think it's old times.
Raddy: But if it comes to trainings, there is figthing and no excuses even on monday after matchday.
Raddy: If the coach sees that something is wrong, he stops the game and, you know...
Raddy: ... he says, that "the more you bleeding during a training session, the less you will during the match".
Raddy: This sentence should tell you how our trainings look like ;-)
Dominik: I've heard that your speciality are no-look passes - is it true?
Raddy: Yes, yes. But it was some time ago...
Raddy: Because when coach Davies saw that, he got angry on me, stoped the game...
Raddy: ... and, cursing and smiling a little, told me that he wouldn't be taking me under consideration...
Raddy: ... if I don't stop doing this ;-)
Raddy: Though! Though! In the firs season here, I made a great assist using no-look pass. And Davies said nothing... ;-)
Raddy: You know what... that cat is trying to get to my house I think..
Dominik: Generally, my biggest surprise is your size - 170cm height and less than 70kg.
Dominik: How did you find yourself in Championship?
Raddy: You know, I have to make it up in other ways. Sure, I won't push those big defenders, that had 180-190cm height...
Raddy: ... and looks like built from the bricks. But if it comes to speed and agility, I don't have any problem
Raddy: .. because one day I was an athlete.
Dominik: Did you have many injuries caused by the hard, british style?
Raddy: I had problems with ribs, ankles, muscles...
Raddy: Once we had a tactic, that rivals were starting from the middle and they said to me...
Raddy: ... "go, block that guy!". But he looks like a giant boxer!
Raddy: He hit me in ribs and I thought he broke me two of them and for 10 seconds I couldn't take a breath!
Raddy: I said, "Oh, great - you sent the smallest to stop the biggest one! Nice!" ;-)
Dominik: I've talk to people from Nottingham Post, to Paul Taylor and he said me, that in your first days...
Dominik: ... you used to get some friendly stick from the other players about your clothing ;-)
Raddy: We have some king of programs... I will strike back to the guy who said that! ;-) I know who said it to Paul!
Raddy: But, you know how it is in locker room... the last one who comes out of the shower, the worst dressed, and so..
Raddy: ...and there are 5 players under fire ;-) usually me, Greg Halford, Simon ***, Dexter and someone else
Raddy: And he said I was the worst dressed and the day after, he came in jeans like mine! ;-)
Raddy: But you know, those are some locker room's jokes.
Dominik: I've talked to Mateusz Klich last week, and he said that there were no jokes there in Wolfsburg..
Dominik: Because Felix Magath was the coach so you know.. It's different in Notingham?
Raddy: Yeah, it's much different. Our coach says, "Guys, if we want to go out for 3-4 days before match..
Raddy: "... I give you free time and do what you want, go where you want".
Raddy: "... club will know about this".
Raddy: Because he knows, there must be a balance. On the one hand super professional behavior...
Raddy: ... but on the other, free time, relax and freeing mind.
Dominik: Paul also said, that you're so popular and loved there in Nottingham from the very first day
Dominik: How fans manifest this? You get free taxi, lunches, etc.?
Raddy: Recently, they're singing some songs about me. But, this is funny, there is even a cafe called by my name! ;-)
Raddy: "Raddy's cafe" or something, and I thought, "No, it goes over the top! ;-)"
Dominik: How about girls in the city? ;-) You're famous so probably you're in demand!
Raddy: No, no! I've got a girlfriend, fiancee! I'm getting married, man! ;-) I'm a serious guy if it comes to these things!
Dominik: There are two clubs in Nottingham - you and Nott's separated just by the river, the closest clubs in UK.
Raddy: When I came here first time, we're playing friendly match against them..
Raddy: ... and 12 000 people came! At the friendly match! I was shocked... it's worth playing games like this.
Raddy: It exceeded my expectations! Number of people, atmosphere, cheering..
Dominik: I read somewhere you said there is a rule: "If you don't drink, they're looking at you strangely" - is it true?
Raddy: You mean alcohole? ;-)
Dominik: Yes.
Raddy: Theoretically yes.. ;-)
Raddy: You know... players sometimes need to unload adrenaline.. go somewhere, like pub, club or sth
Raddy: Well, but it is known that you can't, as they say, get drunk and plastered ;-)
Dominik: Poland vs. Ukraine - what happened there?
Dominik: I have to ask about it, they wouldn't forgive me ;-)
Raddy: We behaved as a non-professional players, it was wrong to do it at the national team training camp...
Raddy: When I was talking about a balance, doing good and bad things..
Raddy: ... it was definitely a bad moment for that. I was much younger then, 5 years ago so...
Dominik: ... you don't need as much to get drunk ;-)
Raddy: This is a different story ;-)
Raddy: From that time I know, things like those can not happen, especially with national team.
Dominik: Last week, against Charlton, Waldemar Fornalik Polish national team coach, flew to London and talk to you... about what?
Raddy: About life! Football and life! ;-)
Raddy: No, just kidding
Dominik: Said anything about your return to the national team?
Raddy: No, no. There was no specific talk about this... we played against each other once
Raddy: And coach said, he got a lot to think... looking at me, but no declarations.
Raddy: I didn't even expect that he'll pick me or not..
Dominik: As a player, you have a lot of interests. I've heard you're going fishing - how can you find the time for that?
Raddy: Today, for example, it's day off.
Dominik: How do you spend day like this?
Raddy: So far I'm talking to you for an hour and woke up two hours ago, cause I wanted to get enough sleep ;-)
Raddy: And.. I'm going to the pool, next there are some matches... shopping etc.
Raddy: But if the weather was better, then I would go fishing today...
Raddy: You wake up at 6 a.m., make a, so called, vacuum flask, pour some coffee, and sit there till 2 p.m. fishing ;-)
Raddy: And I like it so much
Dominik: You're going alone?
Raddy: I'm going with my friend and my girlfriend likes it too.
Raddy: .. and she likes to remove the fish from the hook ;-)
Dominik: what does she like?
Raddy: To remove the fish from the hook! Couse I don't like it... so slippery.. bleh
Dominik: You're fighting for the Premier League for few years, you didn't make it in barage, recently...
Dominik: You've lost 2-3 or 3-4...
Dominik: So when can we see Radek Majewski in Premiership in Canal Plus?
Dominik: But on the Premier League fields! Not Championship ;-)
Raddy: It's all depends on me now... if I'll play well and managers will do they work best... it's my goal..
Raddy: ... to get to the Premier League. But when it will happen?
Dominik: But was there any interest from Premiership teams since you left Polonia Warsaw? Any offers?
Raddy: There was something... in my first year here, but I was a noob, a new one and I didn't want to go anywhere..
Raddy: ... and even Nottingham wasn't considering transferring me anywhere that time
Dominik: Ok, Radek, thanks so much! I held you here so long.. but it's your day off, as you said ;-) drinking coffee..
Raddy: already consumed ;-)
Dominik: Ok, so let be in youch, probably talk soon again when you return to Polish national team ;-)
Dominik: Or when you get to play-off after your goals
Raddy: Thanks!
