Welcome to a new series about the latest openHUD version (0.18d).
It's quite some time ago since the last version got released
but i finally got some new features developed for the HUD and its modules.
Anyway this will be the last update for this year 2012.
The first is a new Skin available at the Skin Manager module
and its name is 'Snowflake'. The second improvement is a settings menu
on modules like at the Float Text module.
Its only option yet is 'Text Color' and will bring up
a list of color names to change the float text color.
Thats a good way to match the new skin. The third improvement is a new module called
Spawn Manager. It provides an interface for other attachments
and objects in-world. That way those objects may share or exchange
data to the HUD. I've made a few sample spawn objects for demonstration.
The first of is an Accessment Post which provides access
to its menu and also sends info messages to the HUD.
The second is attached to my head and shows emoticons
as particles floating above my head. I'm able to access its menu through the HUDs
Spawn Manager and change them on demand.
