Hi, it's Kellene Bishop, the Preparedness Pro, I just wanted to give you a little tip
- this isn't earth shattering or WOW - but it's just a little reminder. I use, preferably,
fresh herbs as often as I can; sage, basil, oregano, parsley, and rosemary are probably
the most common ones, a little cilantro as well. Right now were not in our permanent
home, so I didn't want to spend all that time gardening in someone else's yard and I left
a lot of my garden behind when we moved. So what I've done, is I have a lot of house and
so I look and see which house plant has some wasted space. In this case, this was one of
them, and so I just purchased this lovely basil. Oh my gosh, I just love basil and mozzarella
with tomato and a little balsamic, and then of course the rosemary. And so I'm just go
ahead and plant these, these are just El Cheapo plants that I got from Wally World and I'm
gonna feed 'em with the Mittleider Nutrients, and if you don't know about Mittleider yet,
you'll wanna go and make sure you check that out elsewhere on the Blog, just put in Mittleider
Gardening. Any way, this will be a nice little source, it's gonna be a nice plant cleaning
the oxygen in my home, but it will also be a nice source of fresh herbs for me. And if
they get carried away and they grow faster than I can use them, I'll simply dry them
and we'll vacuum pack them or vacuum seal them in a mason jar. So, just my little tip
for the day. Thanks, see ya next time!
