well good morning once again
grace church. my name is scott one of the pastors here
working in our group life department also
overseeing our downtown campus and so it's good to be
on our other two camps this morning it's good to be in front of the of sharing god's word
with you and so thank you in advance for your
for your time this morning
and thanks to brandon
uh... and the and thanks to his friend that was not easy to do it he just did
and i want to tell you real quickly why we show these stories. We call them life changed stories
and we do it for a couple of reasons
leninism because that's really what
real life in real change looks like
here oftentimes sometimes sometimes
there are these are hundred eighty degree shifts in our life these big before n after
things that are
really like made-for-t_v_ movies
but more often than not it's *** it's more like a mid-course correction
like i was headed this way and i drifted in and they did they come back
and a lot of time but that's just taken a step of faith
getting involved asking for forgiveness
leading courageously becoming more inviting its is the small things that make big differences
in your life and so we like to celebrate does
and we want to hear that we want you to hear them from
guys like brandon cussing mean more coming from him then they even do coming from
near your brother teachers
and secondly
the reason why we we teach the way that we teach the reason why we open up the scriptures
we begin there and we always indian application
is because we want to see life changed
our target is always the heart
and as always life change and we believe that that begins
with god's word god's word is what we need to get to that and called life change
because we believe that god's word is authoritative
we believe is seven seventy three sixteen that it corrects it teaches in monash is it
guides us
and so
life-changing splaine's what we're about to do is we open up the scriptures as we study
together as we've respond to him
and so this morning something exciting we're gonna start a new series and this is new series
has been fashion around one of our our core values
we've got a spot for this and you'll see that
we talk about six different areas
that that kind of guy
our conversation on spiritual growth and discipleship your grace church these are the areas that
when we
we sit around we discussed and we plan and we pray
we talk about where is our church doing really well where were strong
and then where will you be week
and needs some improvement
and so for the next six weeks we've taken
an area called culturally engaged in the that's headline for that is creating opportunities
to communicate the message of salvation
we decided that this is an area that we really want but some some increased focus on and
so we're gonna we're gonna do that for the next six weeks and we're really going to focus
less on albert's entities and more on what it means to communicate the message of salvation
for leaving us starbucks the designers some special labels so when you get the starbucks
asking if you get one of the closely days labels
and i'll proceed suggest right
hard line up here yet
has that got so engaged and you're like a woman
we're gonna talk about
of vandalism
we're gonna talk about witnessing
what would you know we are
we are because that's what the bible calls it
but here's the deal on the very outset leslie knowledge
that depending on where you're coming from in your
church background and a religious background
but those are committed to kinda loaded words for you
that's when the reasons why we use the word closely engaged as work
without looking for a fresh start
because some of us which come when we have become a lot of baggage let's be honest
and i sat down my community group has passed
tuesday night in now use them to do a little sermon prepara said
evangelism and witnessing what comes tomorrow didn't even really given time to think
and then delete began to fit to give me some answers if they develop some strong reaction
in
this is another thing they said
aggressive personalities
street-corner preachers
shouting
sign holding
which i think sign holding has been replaced with t-shirt wearing and bumper stickers in
our culture
passing out tracks door-to-door visitation
altar calls will without just as i am and i surrender all in the background
john three sixteen science behind the goldmans
no maybe some of those are on your list maybe some of you don't know what i'm talking about
and the idea it mark my thinking is not a paint with this huge broad stroke and say
all those are bad
and here's the best
most of refreshing newest
most effective
model this morning asalu so we're talking that we actually have a completely different
conversation
but i wanna eg knowledge
that uh... we are affected by our experiences
and let us say that in in that field
to be faithful
that this important biblical concept of
vandalism that christians had always been is intentional
estoppel and as reflective as we could be
uh... as when some as we could be as we engage the culture and on the book myself
right in the middle of that
uh... about him that years ago
and it's important that you get ten years ago things that makes it seem like a very
long time
i was a apart of an evangelistic team
that uh...
let's just say we were i a m
country and western line dancing
to uh... drawl attraction to ourselves and we can share the gospel
now you need a laugh okay because it was pretty
it was pretty ridiculous when i was doing a cotton agile don't even know what to do
and they're looking like a moderate and now i think
does the race that from my memory thankfully
and here is what makes it worse we were clearing italy
so we work we work on nine joan across wants an across brought home
and we were certainly attraction or
but i think i think our method
probably outweighed our message animeid maybe even hamp hampered our message
and said
at the very least i think most of us would say that
this idea of evangelism maybe feels more like a dvd then a jewel weed
and so i have over the next few weeks we can't we can change that for you
so this morning
very simply in an effort to be intentional
thoughtful and reflective are going to be three words
we'll look at a couple of passages and just land on when big idea
uh... you three words more talk about mission
we wanna talk about
message
we won't talk about motivation
mission
message
and motivation
to start with mission what is it what does that mean
we're talking about vandalism or or witnessing a lot of times we're talking about
what we do to people
or or talking about how apart about faith and so
there's this um...
uh... church program
we got some training in
we're inviting people to church as part of a vandalism efforts
uh... we
engage in a service project like holiday
we go on a mission trip
and all those are great but it was all create opportunities
but but
mission kind of changes
the conversation a little bit
mission is more often referred to as being on a mission
or having a mission
because it connotes
being uh... we have individuals sharing your life with him
as you share the good news
about school
with them
the nomination means intentionally investing
investing your life into the life of others investing
just like you could put money into
a four oh one k_
or piece of real estate that you have
to make money off of
origin best in your body and you exercise three four five times a week
we're talking about investing
relational
answer the question is
what's the value
if we're investing in a portfolio or a business venture if we're investing in our children
or investing in a hobby
and we're putting value on those things
so we're talking about sharing the good news that others
the question is
dot value the good news
drug uart
value the good news do about you whether such as the
principles star
and a second press was that
god has is made no it mistakes in this picture
when he says that he can and he is going to use all of us
to spread his gospel his kidneys
he can and he will use all of us
regardless of our personality
whether you're an introvert earn extra ver
regardless of your training
regardless of your gifting he might say while not gifted evangelism
got still going to use you
is not just don't usually hear he desires to use you in every aspect of your life
all around the world
he makes it clear that his mission
is to get the kidneys to gospel
t_v_ ins of that her
and he wants to use paths
in the process pretty pretty amazing reminder
the person who's personifies the mission
as you might expect jesus
i said we're just gonna look at jesus is life couple aspect of his life
rebecca picked up on that
the conversation last week when
we work we were celebrating easter he said
jesus is life came to a pretty abrupt indi
kids are pretty abrupt ending and and so for the disciples as well
and so let's go back and ask that you that moment just before
jesus is ascension into heaven
thirties
guidance been resurrected and walk with his disciples and he's about to leave them
it's only gathers them for some final
instructions
and i was twelve
one of these already fallen away so now there's eleven
left at some point the football team
for jesus how does this little thing
but it's not like an n_f_l_ team you know we just had a draft where everybody's really
really great
nor the best and the brightest it's not really the n_f_l_
it's not really a college team
where everybody's really really really good overall scholarship
jesus thing was more like an arena football team
yes no arena football is
arena football is the guy who's the the brick mason and the bartender
you know and the landscaper in those guys have a
have a dream applying for both of the gather on the weekends
and that little boys that i would jesus was doing when you went out and grab a drink that
peter the great job they come follow me
so you guys arena football team
and here's what he says he says ungodly
vina del a long time i spent more time with you that spilled anybody else
you see me do some
pretty amazing things that validated my message but here's the deal
they don't really care about that
because they they are to crucify me
they hate me they're gonna hate you
interfere in jesus and totally like mean is this news have a turn for the better
faces that they used here is the good news
i knew all this was going to happen
well-planned has not been deviated one bit
and everything that i started
is gonna finish with you guys
everything that started is gonna finish with you
and he gives the famous
at a matthew twenty eight great commission when he says this is the outlines his mission
for them that also ready on heaven on earth has been given to me
and i'm giving it to you to go
make disciples
teach
baptized everything that i thought you you teach them
and i'm always going to be with you
and and that may more sense to them a little later on when when he tells them does in the
gardening itself in the weight because this is
supernatural thing that happens when the holy spirit get support accounts
and now
he is going with them in the form of his spirit as he empowers them to go to proclaimed boldly
this good news
rigidly uh... some area
into the air
and said
in order to fully understand
jesus is called to the disciples
to be engages
tipped to model his only engagement
of our world we gotta go back
at the beginning of jesus has been string
and i want to look at john chapter one for grad revivals
we're gonna get it done warren
we're gonna see where jesus
comes
and god sends him as as does the ultimate engager
as he sends you through the star
here's the latest morning if you're
avenue to church you knew the faith
john the book and john is a great place to just start reading
is written so eloquently to the church to explain who jesus is
and we see that right here in the beginning of the
john chapter one beginning ever six
descended down syndrome and john the baptist detail about the light
so we have seen imagery their about jesus tease the life
so that everyone might believe because of his testimony
because of john's testimony
john himself was not the like he was simply a witness
to tell about the light
the one who is the trend line
who gives light to everyone
was coming into the world
and i look at first and when the palace at its worse is
he came into the very world he created
but the world in recognize
he came to his own people and even day
rejected him
but to all who believe they have been accepted him he gave
the right to become children of god
they are reborn
now with a physical birth resulting from
human passion or plan
but a birth that comes from god
so the word became him and he made his home among them spurs working
he was full of unfailing love and faithfulness and we have seen his glory
the glory of the father's won in overtime
john testified about him when he shouted to the crowds this is the one i was talking about
when i said someone is coming after me who is far greater than i am
free existed long before me
for sixteen from his abundance we have all received one gracious blessing after another
for the law was given three months is but guides unfailing love and faithfulness
came through jesus christ
no one has ever seen god but the unique one
who is himself god
is near to the father's heart
and he has revealed god
to us
so if i could summarise
this really important passage for us this morning
is that jesus is the true life
that jesus was the true light set into the darkness of this world
he was set by god
and his mission is he reveals
the father too
he shows us
what god is like
you can access
as we see his wife play al so this is
to me the perfect model
of cultural engagement
when you've got
the lord of having jesus
perfectly existing
industry today relationship god the father goddess and god the holy spirit
existing before creation
and yet he leaves
that relationship
comes to her
puts on his earth close puts on
flesh
but on flash
and begins to engage the world what what a perfect model
for us to be heard spot
and when jesus came to this earth he immediately
became a part of culture
before the reasons why he lived for thirty years and and nobody really needed really
was
he got a job
he put on the road
he'd red wine
he grew a beard
he put on sandals
he walked around
is part of the culture
just like you this morning what did you do
you got up
you brush your teeth
got a cup of coffee
you might not abreast again
you've gotten your car you left your neighborhood you come here
he said any seats you watch the screens right supportive
for culture
report culture an ad for christians is always one of those
tension questions of
of how much and how do we engage
the called
we can escape it but how much do engage in in you know there's a couple of different
camps i mean there's the one campuses now we really should be separate
and a lot a lot of that if you listen it's it's driven by a criticism and cynicism in
an often by fear
and where we kinda
separate ourselves and then we'll all be verbal
grenades into the culture and talk about how bad everything is in
you know was for the next generation and we use terms like going to helena handbasket
which if you think about it
why would the handbasket be the chosen vessel to bunch of people to help
this doesn't really make any sense
sometimes we savings rate is omega decent
bailey other end of the spectrum there's folks that are just really
really great
with the culture
however kind of along for the ride
not not really critically thinking about about anything
we would say for sure that the balances
is somewhere in the middle because neither one of those camps is intentional
thoughtful
forty logically reflective
about our role is
called for engager
as early as this one principle
that week re-engage the culture we really should just near the work of a father
we should hear the work of the site
near the work in a father
near the work of the sun because that's what jesus things to say and john chapter seventeen
let me just read to you wear
simply because the father sent me
and so i send you
motorcycles
the father sent me
i send you
and and this is the pattern that you see all throughout the christian faith
god calls us then
to do what
send this out
call this a m
that's in the south
and so is appropriate
that we've seen a lot of isaiah six where we say
here are my lord
singing out i wanted to your messenger
help me to live not for me but the shine for your glory
we've been called
we've been sent
and we've been sent as awareness witnesses just it's a legal term at the time
but you see in the courtroom
in testimony all the time
it just means that that i'm calling you to live
inouye and
reporting on an experience
that i've had
you know a couple years ago
there was just that there's a cindy a player n_b_a_ players names were brian james t
was playing for a bad team in the cleveland cavaliers he's a really really great player
forget a lot of amazing things
and he cup ordered with nike and so uh... nike can even make a greater then you really
are in
and what they did is they had this ad campaign
where they had his likeness often are on a teacher and they had the word witness
and everybody at all the games
where these t-shirts
with his likeness with the word witness
and what they were saying is i have seen something great
and i want to tell you about it
i have seen something great of experience something that i want you to know about it
what mean isn't that what we should be doing about our relationship with graphs
that's really what we do when we are excited about things
we say i've had this experience and i want she writes
and i don't want to keep to myself
that's really all the work witnesses
when we're talking about the message
what is that
what is that message
i can tell you i i don't think it's a script
i don't think it's a series of verses that we memorize ur
clever illustrations account catch people when they're not expecting
i think if there were that simple then we would need dependents on gotten the holy spirit
disciples whenever needed that acts one eight
fama of waiting and then god repeals himself
comes down empowers them through the holy spirit and really propels them out to share
their faith
same thing is true for us were really dependent
on god in this whole process
and so i can simplify it for you a little bit and tell you that the message is a person
the message is a person
and while you hold replacing john one turn over a few chapters john five
and want you to look at how many times the word
testify
moni and witnesses used
john chapter five the divers thirty-one
jesus speaking here he says the power to testify on my own behalf but testimony would be
would not be valid
someone else is testifying about me and assure you that everything he says about mister
speaking again a john the baptist
it back to you soon investigators to listen to amend his testimony about me was true
of course i have no need of human witnesses but i say these things
underline this so that you might be saying
jesus brings the very words of salvation
because jesus is celebration
john was like a burning a shining lay-up and you are excited for a while about his message
but i have a far greater witness than john
my teaching them americans
the father gave me these works to accomplish and they prove that he sent me
and the father who sent me as testified about me himself
you've never heard his voice
never seen a states
and you do not have his message in your hearts because you don't believe me
the wouldn't set the
verse thirty nine
you search the scriptures because you think they give you a turn a life
but the scriptures point for me
yet you refused to come to me
he receive this life
all of scripture points us back
to the message
the message is a person
and his name is jesus
and so whenever you are sharing
the good news of the gospel
you've got to cheer about the person
you can't get around it
and and not the person that people
wanted
believe jesus is
the moral guy the teacher
the good example
it's kisi for the world to acceptance that
but that night
that disease is not just that the jesus that was
the save your
the jesus that was the sacrifice
that died a bloody death on the crops
but was released again like no one else in history
and ascended into heaven
that jesus
last weekend after the service
had the privilege of talking to a young man and his question was simple
he had gone up in church
no one really told him that he should believe this or that he is investigating
religion at the fed on his own
and his question was simple
what was the point
jesus death on the ground
what was the point
and i'd love his honesty
he wasn't trying to trick me wasn't on the traveling and so we had this great discussion
about how this tension between god's holiness and gotten god's love
come to a resolution in the crops
that has as humans are willful sin of selfishness
separated the separated us from the creator
and that we are in need of the savior
and that tension
all throughout the old testament
points to the needy
for a messiah
and then jesus comes
and he dies he's risen again
and in the rest of the new testament celebrates that fact
that that tension
comes to ahead in the crops
and we even see it in john chapter one
to return back to bear
in verse seventeen
where jesus says the law
which was that
the gap
a bridge the gap between
man and sense of the week it
kind of relates a god through this set of practices set of rituals
set of sacrifices
the law was given three mos is
but notice how the language dangers
guides are unfailing love and faithfulness
game three g
welfare in moses
but then jesus comes and he is the fulfilment of that wall
here's the message and when you reject the message
you reject them
but there's a couple of mistakes i think
that we make a date that
when we're sharing her fate that just gets us off message
and part of it is well-intentioned but we
we take these rabbit trails sometimes when we become overly involved and
let's say intellectual arguments
so people want to talk about discrepancies in the bible problem with translations what
about the missing gospels what to do with the problem of people the age of the year
dinosaurs all those questions
which are great questions
and when you engage people and and you don't dismiss their questions
you're not dismissing them which is a great thing
and we need to be thoughtful we can have it on the conversations but the further and further
and further to get us away from
jesus the for that we get off of our message
because he has here's the reality up
our job is not to persuade
it's two percent
to present
because we can we can win the debate in our mind we can win the argument
but that doesn't mean we win the person price
and here's the trade it
in years of ministry and never explain one of these
difficult questions i've never explained
about the gospel of thomas
and then someone says i'll okay
i got that now i'm good with jesus
just really doesn't work that way
so we have these intellectual rabbit trails that we can we can get awful
and then there's a big sis
moral rabbit trails in
political rabbit trails about issues that are really important and the christian faith
speaks to those
but sometimes we can get drawn into debate
and lose our focus on the main message
that besides getting off message what else keeps us from having
spiritual conversations with ur family with friends
with our neighbors where co-workers
if any have these ideas of ever cross your mind
i don't know what to say
manfred young christian
this is the first years that i've been that's really taught the scriptures
told me i think the real scriptures are just don't feel like i know enough to really don't
know what to say
oregon i don't want to be pushy
i don't wanna seen arrogant
i don't wanna force my beliefs
down someone's throat
i've got a buddy
a workout with this guy
he's got another friend of the christian
he's always talking about how bad friend just wants to convert him
and i don't want to be like that i don't want to be done dot
it but about that
eyes i don't have a lot of opportunity
brown christians all the time
idea stay-at-home with kids and i just don't have a lot of opportunity or how about a clinton
never really comes up
i mean the neighborhood barbecue esi billy four five times a year
at the family gatherings theirs
cousin ed in father in law frank
and then i think those guys and we talk about but most of the time into insist
pretty light
superficial conversation
and quite honestly i like it that way
because whenever things kind of spiritual it must the tamils when something about church
comes up
it just gets kinda weird
it gets all her
and i'd just rather not
debbie friends like that
about some things like that
well i think we have to answer those objections
with the motivation question
first a final point
what is the gold
a personal vandalism
sharing her fate
sharing the good news
we light was khatami's you want
we want people to put their faith
entrance for salvation
absolutely
absolutely that is the goal
jesus even states this
another way and luke night thing
first then when he says i came deceit and save those who were lost
so i agree think we're all in agreement but that's the goal but
what's the motivation
was the motivation
twice in john chapter one diverse that we've that passes that we've been looking at
in verse seventeen
we're a big guys unfailing love and faithfulness was demonstrated to jesus
ever sporting
says that jesus
was full of unfailing love and faithfulness
so let's get this right
who is love
sends love
in the form of jesus
to demonstrate
his love for us
god is love sends love
in the form of christ
to show us
how much he loves it
you see a thing then
and i was thinking about this weekend come a little bit
embarrassed to say it is kinda hit me
when i thought about john three sixteen public the first verse that a lot of us
wherever ever exposed to
and it says why for god so
iniki's you just to kind of quote that are here can say that just run right on past that
work
for god so love
that he gave his only son
so that those who believe in him
would have eternal life
that wasn't here
but they wouldn't be separated from
theme is love
in this morning
my hunch is that some of you really
need to be reminded
of god's earn failing liao
and paid for
the hebrew word is is heston
lovingkindness
it's unlike anything that we know as he did
you need to be reminded of that because
you know what's inside your heart you know where you've been
you know what you've done
and you're having a hard time even loving yourself or someone like yourself
here's the deal god does not love the same way that you know
that god loves you samaj
the woodstock bicycles
to be in relationship with you
but until you are overwhelmed by that sense of and that knowledge of grades
than it is harder to share
that love about the people
and so are you overwhelmed by the absence of love this morning
the cat has got calls us
imitate that kind of love
nowadays quick story
this week i came home in the light was on the phone
and she's on the phone with
uh... credit card company
now let me just say for full disclosure we we use a credit card with paying off every
month
and
she had one of those involved stills which she went through the the line and she took
the credit card gave her an extra fifteen or twenty percent off and now here we are
trying to cancel and they make you talk to like six people
if the talk to the president of the company i think before you can actually cancel your
card
so she's on the phone for ten or fifteen minutes and i understand there waiting for her to
get off the phone
and i care if we're in good spirits when i'm great
and uh...
she keeps talkin' and she's talking to the third person the and i just started shouting
everything
do you think that we really need it
catholic are what i can you tell you
and so a lot of funny is because there's a little four-year-old in the room next door
what they said as i say that he did returned
everybody was there
realm
any comes over and pieces had anythg a going any flat plain
and then we engage in this game where whatever daddy says
he wants to say
and why does he do that
because he loves me
because he enjoys me
because we have a wonderful relationship
and he just wants to
to imitate is the greatest form of flattery for me
and jesus and god is calling us to be the same thing
he says
you love because first loved you
percent for writing
and because our first love you
you love me back
and then you love others
you imitate me
and so i think that
the motivation for personal evangelism
it's gotta be enough
it's gotta be love
and the ultimate act of love is telling batman
that woman babble way that girl about the god who sacrificed everything
so that they could be inner right relationship
that is dot ultimate
of love
answered here's the big takeaway
and this might sound a little more
i want you to wrestle with it
if we struggle with
sharing her fate
i don't say that i don't think it's that we don't love but i think it's because we love
the wrong things
i think it's because we love ourselves
because the person with all the questions
the person with the philosophy degree with a history degree
that you're already feeling a little inferior too because they they know some much needed
to many places i've read so much
out big debt
we don't share with them because we don't want appear down
we don't appear like we don't know what we're talking about we don't want it
looking fear
and were intimidated and i think that's about half loving our parents
and loving our staffs
more than we love them
when we did in those
gatherings that yes they could get all cordon with the friends the barbecue and
the ball games in the neighbors
but when we hear unwilling and we don't want to be bothered
i think in that moment
we're loving our comfort
we're loving our comfort more than we are loving the individual
just let me be
let me get through this night
i'm here is not enough
and so we just love our comfort
we don't want to extend ourselves
and for those those coworkers
that's presented him
those ones that you really really liked you find them interesting
they've got cool stories
they've been great places you actually find the more interesting than you do a lot of
your christian friends
there wasn't a great music
you liked the movie is that they watch
you like the way that they dress
you have to reflect
conversations with them
you are really friends with them
but at the end of the day you know
you know they're lost
you know they did not have a relationship with god
and and you're unwilling to move into a spiritual conversation with them
because you
you don't want to jeopardize that relationship and you feel like that's going to jeopardize
relationship
you wanted to see you as a jesus freak ur
someone who's intolerant or label you and here's the deal that is not about them
about you
has about me
that is about me loving that friendship in what i'm getting from them more been loving
them because the alternate active love would be to share the one thing that would make
all the difference in their life not just for this life
before eternity
and we can become comparably nama
in this world
and so comfortable at that comfort has crowded out any sense of urgency
that men and women are separated from god
and they're gonna spend eternity
separated from god
musicians they're not separated from you
the right there beside you
they're sitting next year the ball games there in your neighborhoods
their in your family their in your g_m_'s
arcing across the table from u when you have a cup of coffee
will you love them enough
to engage them spiritually
we've got it yourself
so that you
can love them
as one of the reason why up like a lot of us don't share say
just because you don't have anything to cheer
you don't have anything to share
there's no excitement as my passion
there's no joy
you were not being sent out into the world
because you have not been called into a relationship with god
you have resisted them
you put them all
you drawn up your contract says god when you do this
and i'll do this
and i would have heard you for some honest reflection this morning
and if that is you keep your here's the good news
to come together
all you need
all you need is nothing
and when you're ready to get rid of all of those other things that you think earns you
credit with god then you were able to receive
the righteousness of christ
you're able to see the righteousness
of christ
because we don't deserve it
we don't burn it
no more than we deserve your arm
jesus
coming other than the first place
dot sending him from heaven
feeling to age
this culture
and once we get back once we get that sense of love
band we're tools
we can be used
to go out and be a part of the redemption of this world
so here's here's the bottom line there is a missed permission
that you were uniquely created four
their hands that you need to hold
their lives you need to touch
their lives that you can speak into
the same message
jesus
became too dot persons but when it comes from your mouth when you're the mouthpiece
yet rings true
in some people's ears that god has put right in your path
so the question is
are you motivated
are you motivated by your alone
since of a change life bean overwhelmed
by god's love
that you're willing to
that yourself
risked being inconvenienced risking bothered
brisbane awkward
trusting in the power of the holy spirit moved forward
engage
father we thank you that you did not leave us
separated from you understand
that if you sixty or send jesus to engage this world
but we celebrate that
this morning we celebrate what you have done in the heart lives
but those who put their faith and trust in you
the father that you ask
we ask you to remind us of that this morning
to make that faith
so that we would be overwhelmed by greats as we have a chance sit i think
and reflect
and that you would put into our minds
the people in our lives that
they don't have that faith
but yet you have called us to be on mission with them
giving our live the way
taking your message of hope
salvation and comfort
but it's only going to happen if were motivated by hearts of love
begotten still does hearts change our hearts
even now
in christ
