They have to learn from their first teachers...
Their parents
Be careful, don't get burn!
When I was a Kid I used to believe that everything was completely different
I believed the things surrounding me, were framed by a fantastic universe
I believed in those things that my parents...
My grandparents...
My aunts and uncles, told me once to control my behavior
- Yeah! Let's throw sand to my dad!
I believed that if I didn't finish my veggies, a old man would take me with him...
Also when my family sited me in front of TV to watch the old times mexican movies
"That's how we used to be", said my granfather
The funny thing is that these traditional stories, are nothing but a mirror of our culture
They affects to everyone who has memory of their childhood
Now we are going to sing, there's a part for your kids, and another one for you, parents...
...Let's sing all together
For example, one friend of mine told me about the day he accidentally ate a balloon...
"It's going to blow up in your stomach, and you're going to blow up"...
ÉSomeone in his house told him
All the children deserve to have a natural process of development and growth
With the only purpose of the other children follow this example, and look for their improvement...
Day after dayÉ So this is possible with the support of their parents
- Stop it dad!
Another friend of my believed that you were supposed to sleep early and close tight your eyes
trying to sleep while you were waiting all the night for the Three Wise Kings...
Because if you looked at 'em you'ld go blind
Although you wanted to see the elephant, the horse and the camel right on your living room
Our children will become what we make them to be
Or that other story of those who ate a piece of cake and drank Coke at the same time
Despite believing what our mother just told 'em...
"There are going to grow up bugs and worms on your stomach"
Very similar to that one that told us not to eat watermelon seeds...
Because it would rise up a tree inside
In this moment, inspiration is what I desire the most...
To have the power of inspire your minds and touch your hearts...
But if we do not achieve to sow into them that seed, it won't germinate...
When you are a kid you can believe in a thousand things...
If you fall down, the devil will kiss you...
If you eat candies before you go to sleep, you'll have nightmares...
If you grimace your face will stay that way...
if you break a mirror you'll have 7 years of bad luck...
If you sit just in front of the TV you'll go blindÉ
if you eat a lot of carrots will improve your eyesight...
If you go out with your wet hair, you'll get sick...
if you don't study you'll get donkey ears...
If you eat a lot of spinach you'll get stronger than Popeye...
If you cross your eyes they'll stay that way...
If you get an eye lid, you can make one wish...
Well, a thousands of amazing stories, in wich we suddenly stopped believing in
They have to learn to give...
But, what implies, stop believing and being amaze?
What's up with those stories we used to care about?
With the rush and stressed life we have, we have forgotten about patience...
about we must give a kind and loving attention so our kids learn from us...
What for we want life, if we don't take the most of it?É
What for we want life, if it's useless?...
I just think that when you are a kid, it doesn't matter whether stories are real or not...
You just let 'em in and be part of your reality, of your life...
Does stop believing, focus us on other colder and more indifferent things?
The pain and indifference, a selfishness that we have to defeat as parents
Our society needs willing people, generous people
It's the most important, for them to learn how to give, to learn to share...
