Hello everyone !
I came to Osaka Castle Park to shoot plum blossom today.
It's not full blossom yet, but
I wanted to avoid crowd of people.
Let's start with 60mm micro lens.
(WB is on blue sky. )
(Picture control is on Vivid. )
a problem occur
Look at the screen...
a dark spot is in the pictures... :(
I just changed the lens into 24-120mm from 60mm.
but the dark spot is still here... :(
Woo ! what's going on ?!
I was almost quit shooting today, but
The problem was solved !!
I have camera instruction manual in my iPhone,
I read it and found how to fix it.
I had to do Mirror up cleaning.
I opened the camera and did mirror up,
I found a tiny peace of dried leave (looks like) on the camera sensor.
I cleaned it, so, let's continue the shooting.
I brought a PL filter today.
it's blue sky today, so,
let's use it now.
Oh, wow, blue sky is even bluer.
OK, next, let's take a combination of Osaka castle and the plum blossom.
OK ,now, let's change the lens into 18-35mm.
I tried many situation...
but I didn't like any of them... :(
but, it's almost sun setting.
let's go home.
Hi ! How did you like the video ?
I had plum garden shooting.
full blossom season will be packed,
so, I chose pre full blossom season.
but unfortunately, early blossom kinds were almost finishing,
and, late blossom kinds were still buds.
so, they looked pretty when I see from far.
but when I get closer to them, there were many dead flowers...
It was quite difficult to find fine flowers.
that means, it wasn't a good timing for using micro lens.
I brought 3 lenses,
60mm micro,
24-120mm zoom lens,
and 18-35mm zoom lens.
I usually don't use all of them, but this time.
I set the camera WB on Blue sky,
picture control was on vivid,
and the camera dial was on A.
I used manual focus when I used 60mm micro.
I don't like using auto focus with this micro lens,
because the auto focus on the micro lens is not perfect... :(
and, I used the remote release which I talk on the last video.
Yes, my micro lens is 60mm.
I have to get quite closer to the subjects
when I want a picture of ''the micro''.
but this time, at the situation of plum garden,
plum flowers are really tiny,
I have to get closer even more.
but there were other flowers or buds or branches around the subject.
I couldn't get enough close to the subject most of the time.
so, my micro pictures were not ''the micro'' pictures''.
I was frustrating.
105mm micro is better for those situation, I guessed.
as soon as I started shooting with 60mm lens,
the problem was happened as you just saw.
this dark spot.
I thought my lens got something,
and wiped it many times...
but the dark spot was still there.
I move to somewhere quiet,
and checked my lens again.
then, my channel viewer find me and talked to me.
so, I asked him (obviously he likes camera and must have knowledge. )
then, he said, must have something on the sensor.
I didn't know the case.
so, I went to a cafe to sit and open the camera inside.
I read the camera manual and did mirror up.
and cleaned it with a blower.
hey, someone I met at the plum garden !
are you watching this video today ?
Oh, I should have taken a video clip with him.
I set Auto sensor cleaning already.
but the Auto sensor cleaning was not enough good.
I had to have Mirrow Up Cleaning,
it was a good experience because I didn't know
how to solve it until today.
and, this PL filter.
I got it at last summer...
but haven't used it till this time.
I almost forgot that I have it.
I remember I have it because it was blue sky on the day.
I put the product link on the description box. (sorry it's only in Japanese.)
These filters should have thin frame.
otherwise images get vignetting.
so, I got a thin frame PL filter.
but this filter....
yes, the frame is actually thin enough,
but the circulate ring is also too thin,
that means... very hard to pick the circulate ring itself.
I picked the lens connection part together with the circulate part,
and, the filter came off from the lens all of sudden...
so, I can't say it's a perfect product.
but my purpose was completed,
blue sky was actually even bluer.
I saw this magazine and wanted to go for plum garden shooting.
this is a women's magazine, but
it features best flower location in Japan for every month.
the article and the photos were quite interesting.
it's about 50 pages and quite a volume.
please check if you like flower shooting.
it's the newest issue.
I liked the *** forest of camellia at Hagi in Yamaguchi prefecture.
and, I talked about this remote release last time.
and, I gave a question to my viewers.
I got many ideas from you,
thank you so much.
and someone said,
the remote is having strap hole.
I didn't notice it because the holes are too small,
but they were actually here.
so, I gloved a strap from my room, and put it on.
this is it.
I think it's perfect. I can hook it on the screw of tripod.
I think I don't need to worry about shake of hooking.
when I do interval timer shooting.
because I just need to press timer start button only once and
just leave it .
OK, please press thumbs up button, and subscribe my channel.
see you soon at the next video, bye !
