Hello my name is Chuck Dougherty and this is the Spot Gold Prices Daily Wrap-up.
The Spot Gold prices for Monday the 25th of November saw Gold prices opening at around
$1,237.50.
It appears a few factors lead to a good day for gold today. One of the factors was people
short trading to catch some of the bounce to profit from it. We also have those who
think we have finally hit the bottom and now is the time to buy, so they did. One other
factor today was the fact that the dollar index was down which as I mentioned before,
is good for gold.
We hit the low of around $1,230.60 in the overseas early morning trading hours but this
only lasted until the start of US trading hours. From there gold rose to the high of
around $1,253.10 and we ended the day at around $1,252.50 which resulted in a decent gain
in the price of gold of around $15.00.
Trading should slow down some later this week with the Thanksgiving holiday coming on Thursday.
