So now we are going to take a look at our 5th and 6 measures here of accordion love
of blues. Notice that we do have a chord change now we are going to the 4 chords we have the
C7. Remember the G is the 4th note, C, G, A, B, C so 1,2,3,4, and now we have our C
down here, our C7 chord and there is our 5th so don't even worry about this left hand again.
It is just root chord, 5th chord, root chord, it looks like a lot but it is really easy.
So now we go back to our right hand and here we are and so if G is our 2nd line we have
1,7,6 so we have 6, flat 6 to 5. So 6 down to 5 and this rhythm pattern is called a triplet
so we have 3 quarter notes, 4 quarter notes to a beat right. There are 4 quarter in a
whole but 3 quarter notes to a triplet equals 2 quarter notes so we have 1,2,3, so over
2 beats we have. (playing accordion) Notice I'm playing 2 notes in my right hand and 3
or 3 on my right and 2 on my left. So if we go through and play this pattern we have 6
and 5 and then we have the 3 here and then 6 down to 5 again. Again. So those are our next 2 measures for the accordion
love of blues.
