Hey folks, Lorri Ratzlaff herere, coming to you today with another fantastic video.
I want to share an experience I had this last week, and a really important lesson that I
learned. I'm still learning so you can too. *laughs*

Whoa, that's not good.
"sigh" I don't need this, I'm already late.
Somebody will come. Anybody out there?**
We ALL get advice, and people are really willing to share advice. I'm sharing advice with you
right now, that's what the internet is for. But we have to be able to decipher between
good advice and bad advice. Well, I truly have been getting some of the best advice
in my adult life from my very good friend Ian Darley. If you don't know who Ian is I'll
put a link in the description below so that you can find out who he is and what what he's
all about. He has really made a complete and incredible difference in my life and I just
really encourage you to find out more about him. Anyway, he gave me some advice this week
and I was nervous. No, not nervous, I was just leery. He encouraged me to de-stress
and I was like "well, what am I supposed to do" and we said "just go OUT and have some
FUN". And I know that sounds, so like, it should be the easiest thing in the world to
think of, oh ya, okay I'll go out and have some fun to de-stress. But, when you're in
the middle of stress you don't THINK about going out and having some fun, so for him
to have given me that advice was brilliant!
So what ended up happening was, the other morning I grabbed my kids, they're older already
but they're still living at home with me right now. I said, girls, get up get dressed, we're
going for ice cream, and it wasn't even noon yet. Actually, we went for frozen yogurt.
The fact is that, you know, we got OUT of our comfort zone, we got out of our structure
our schedule and we just went for frozen yogurt, for froyo, and it was awesome! We filled our
little bowls, and we sat down and I said, okay, today we are ALL de-stressing. We're
putting it out on the table. We all had our turn to talk and share and it ended up being
so awesome and we laughed and we shared and we got all the crap out and it just ended
up being a fantastic time.
So I'm giving you this advice now. If you are in the middle of a stressful situation,
just stop. Stop everything, drop everything and go have some fun! It doesn't have to be
something that costs money, we decided to go for frozen yogurt which is really inexpensive
but I mean, it can be as easy as going for a walk somewhere or going to a cheap movie
night or who knows, I don't know, go bowling or something. Just get out of the routine
of what's keeping you stressed, is the point. Once you're out of it, you can look back on
it and see that usually things really aren't as bad as you think they are.
So, that was the lesson I learned this week and I was like, you know what, this is crazy,
I'm so glad I learned this, and I'm definitely going to put this into practice more often.
So I wanted to share that with you; go out and have some fun, de-stress. We only have
one life, is it really worth being that stressed out about it? I don't think so. I personally
don't think so.
That's all I have for today, again, check out Ian. He's amazing.
If you found any value in this video all I ask is that you share it around with your
friends or your family or colleagues, hit subscribe. Share it on Facebook, tweet it

for now.
