This approach tackles creating a property line when survey information isn't available in a digital format
Site plan view is set to True North
Other views are using Project North
Create a Property Line using a table
Insert rows to match the number of boundaries define in the survey, copied bearing and distances from survey
Put a space between degrees, minutes and seconds, use TAB to advance from field to field
As soon as the last values are entered Revit will confirm if boundary closes
Property Line is tied to cursor, place it so it is easy to reference the building
Move the property line to specific part of building, make it easy to define the angle between Project and True North
Use Rotate True North to define the angle between Project and True North
Now the view is showing True North orientation, butProperty Line is not in the correct location
Use dimensions to define how the building relates to the boundary, either with literal requirements or ideal location.
Aligned dimensions require parallel elements, start from property line and use TAB key to get corner of building
Unit rounding will disguise the accuracy of values, double check them for accuracy
Keep in mind we are moving the property to the building, not the reverse. It's easier this way.
Now we can create another Property Line for the setback requirements
Using Offset Option to put setback segments at the required distance
Override element appearance so it looks different than the Property Line
