Hello, everyone. So I have watched two of the videos and in my opinion, I think Sir
Ken Robinson is giving a speech about education and creativity. He is telling the audiences
that creativity is as important as education. He has general purpose in his speech, which
is he uses the "to entertain" and "to inform". He explains a lot of situations and uses a
lot of his past experiences to elaborate his point. Other than that, he uses "to entertain"
to amuse his audiences. He uses anecdote and stories to make his speech much more entertaining
and interesting. Other that that, I watched the Chimamanda video. I think she delivers
an effective speech about feminism. She uses main points such as culture, gender and social
class to support her points. In my opinion, I think, Ted Talk is a showcase for speakers
t present great and well-formed ideas to the audiences. Ted Talk promotes new ideas, perspectives
and beliefs to the audiences. People can change to a better person when they hear these great
ideas and motivational talks from the speakers. Next, I have watched 'self-confidence' by
Dr.Ivan Joseph. This is one of my favorite Ted Talks. Even though his topic is about
self-confidence, he narrows his topic about persistence in what you are doing and never
give up. Next, I have watched 'how to stop screwing yourself' by Mel Robins. She effectively
delivers her central idea to the audiences. She knows how to attract audiences' interest.
She uses personal experiences in her speech to enhance her points of view. Other than
that, she narrows her topic which is how to get what you want and how to achieve your
goals. Next, I have watch 'overcoming hopelessness' by Nick Vujicic. He gave an amazing speech
about love and how to overcome difficulties. He made his statements as precise as possible
to the audiences so that the audience will not be confused. Thats all from me :)
