Journal for Students
Use Journal as the place in your course to make notes and record your thoughts.
It's also a place where your instructor can make specific assignments.
For example, your instructor can post articles or questions in your journal
and then ask you to respond.
You can designate entries as private, meaning, only you can view your entries,
or as shared meaning, your instructor can read and respond to your entries.
Add journal entries Click Journal on the Tools menu.
Then, click Add Entry.
In the Title field, type a title for your entry and type your entry using the Visual Editor.
Select either: Share Entry with Instructor, or Private Entry.
Click Add Entry.
View journal entries On the Tools menu, select Journal tool.
A list of your journal entries displays. For each entry, you'll see the names of each person who
has modified the entry, and the date on which the last modifications were made.
If both you and your instructor have modified the entry, both names display.
Click the plus sign next to the entry you want to view.
Or,to Expand All, click Expand All at the top of the Journal page.
This will open all journal entries at once.
Then, Click Collapse All to close all entries when they are all expanded.
Edit journal entries On the Tools menu, click Journal.
In the Edit column, click for the journal entry you want to edit.
Make any comments or corrections in the journal entry.
Then, click Save Changes.
