I am at a loss of words, is it devastating, it’s tragic, it’s almost indescribable.
Breaks my heart to know that someone else is suffering because of a tragedy.
Tonight a group of students from the University of Houston and TSU, Texas Southern University
got together and decided to pay our respects to the victims, our fallen brothers and sisters
in Haiti, by doing a candlelight vigil. That’s somebody’s family, somebody has
lost a loved one. That’s what goes through my head, it could have been a normal day going
to school, The thing about disasters is they don’t
discriminate. They happen anywhere and so at this time there are really no borders.
They’re comfort zone was shaken and it’s very sad for me, very emotional.
We are giving a message of hope right here, we are doing our part, its small, but it’s
never too small to make a difference, and I think you will see the entire world at this
time, is lending a helping hand to Haiti. There is always a message of hope and stand
strong brothers and sisters.
