Investment options in Indonesia, are now more varied. In addition to investing in Indonesia
Stock Exchange, the public may also invest in futures and Commodity Derivatives Exchange
Indonesia (ICDX).
In Indonesia, there are two exchanges the Indonesia Stock Exchange and the Jakarta Futures
Exchange. Indonesia Stock Exchange under the supervision of the Capital Market Supervisory
Agency or Bapepam, while the Jakarta Futures Exchange under the supervision of the Commodity
Futures Trading Regulatory Agency (Bappebti).
In general, each exchange has three products. Indonesia Stock Exchange offers investment
products ie bonds, mutual funds, and stocks. While the Jakarta Futures Exchange offers
investment products in the form of futures contracts on indices, commodities, and forex.
Based on the risk profile, futures generally have a higher risk of the Indonesia Stock
Exchange. But of course objectively offer higher returns.
