Let's add some excitement to your belly dance. Hi, I'm Johanna, and this is Karen, from Hip
Expressions Belly Dance Studio in St. Petersburg, Florida. Let's do a roll up reverse undulation
that we would do in belly dance. So let's start with one foot ahead of the other, both
feet flat on the floor. Bend both our knees. And our weight's on our back foot. So what
we're going to do, as we go, shift our weight to our forward foot. Okay, so imagine that
there's a wall right there at your toe, and we're going to touch our knee to the wall
first, then our thigh, then our hip, then our belly, then our chest, and then our chin.
So you're taking this whole undulation and shooting it straight up. Lift that sternum.
It comes right up out of your heart, and up against the wall. Good. So, start on that
back foot, roll it forward, the weight stays right over that front foot, and roll up that
wall. Good. So let's try it again. Good. Roll up. And one, two, three, four. Again. Ready,
and, one, two, three, four. Good. This is a beautiful move used at the end of a phrase.
Very nice. Good. Practice that and you'll have a beautiful roll up reverse undulation.
