Hello everyone. this is my entry for "funkypinkgals" huge
international polymer clay contest -
"just desserts".
all entries are sweets, or puddings as we call it in the U.K.
first we have this blue cupcake
which i will try and keep still as i have a low frame rate at the moment.
next we have another blue cupcake which was made using a silicone mold
which I have added more glitter to.
you'll see a i have added glitter to pretty much everything.
cant get this thing out of the way!
there you go.
ok, the next one is a gold cupcake.
if you from the U.K they sell pots of glitter,
two for a pound (£) at" the works" at the moment.
they dont have every colour, but they do have a pretty good range going on!
i got these phone straps from ebay as well. i got one-thousand for a really good price.
(in different colors).
next we have a pink cupcake with micro marbles on the icing.
that may look red to you, but its the hot pink sculpey three.
all the charms are made out of sculpey three.
next ill show you my biscuits (cookies).
The pink icing was coloured with pastel.
these sprinkles were made as i went along.
ill show you later that i have actually pre-made some sprinkles.
(the) front and the back.
my second biscuit.
and the back of that one.
ill show you this, my rainbow cake slice.
more glitter!
if your wondering why i am using tweezers it's because i don't like the shadows,
when showing with just my fingers.
(here) we have a doughnut here with strawberry cane slices.
i made the strawberry cane myself,
following a YouTube tutorial.
there are many of them out there and i don't remember which one it was but,
this has dark chocolate sauce on top -
yeah sauce on top.
there is the underside.
whoops... next we have a glitter doughnut.
this ones my favorite one.
originally i got the star gazer glitter pots which are expensive really but,
they are good quality.
its very glittery! i would like to add more glitter to these,
as you can't get enough glitter!
another glitter doughnut which is light blue. i mixed blue and white glitter,
and placed it on the white icing.
next we have,
a chocolate covered doughnut with rainbow sprinkles.
i dont know if i already mentioned it, but we call them hundreds and thousands here.
but sprinkles is a prettier name.
i rolled these out individually individually and then sliced them
as small as i could without making them look like little discs.
...
the underside.
and the last doughnut i have
is
white vanilla icing with more rainbow sprinkles.
i think these are my favourite ones.
my other favourites minus the glitter ones of course!
last but not least we have
three
coloured sponge cakes that i made in honour of the
three olympic countries that gained the most medals
third place we have great britain
in second theres i china
the flag didnt come out as well as i had liked it too
it was my first attempt at making flag canes
so thats second place china, and then of course in first place we have
united states
you've got the most medals this year congratulations
these the rings at the top were
meant to look like sugar decorations
there you go
and these are just cookies
cookie medals and then purple to represent the lanyards
that the medals were presented on
uh.. yea
so i hope you enjoyed watching
