Several weeks ago my custodian, Tom Romine, at Ryan Elementary School told me he was restoring a WWII Jeep. 0:00:03.090,0:00:07.430This fascinated me as I too appreciate history also.

Mr. Romine is an avid reader of historical books.0:00:11.819,0:00:16.720It took him three years to complete the project and he brought it to school one day. 0:00:16.720,0:00:19.929When we found out an interesting story about the Jeep we invited third grade classrooms to take a look at the Jeep.0:00:19.929,0:00:25.739 us You see the Jeep originally was assembled in Toledo, OH.0:00:25.739,0:00:32.739Many part were made in the great auto state of Michigan.0:00:41.590,0:00:45.220In fact some parts were made right here in Bronson, MI by Douglas Autotech.
that's about the without manufactured 0:00:49.440,0:00:51.890So we set up this little recognition program at Ryan Elementary School.
We invited the CEO from Douglas Autotech, four local WWII Veterans from the Bronson community and Mrs. Rollins classroom to be part of the story.
You see a little Michigan rural town can and does reach around the world and make a difference.
Congratulations to our veterans, Douglas Autotech, Mr. Romine, and the your third grade students
