I'm Korean
I'm American
And we're going to teach you some Naaasty slangs.
Oraenmaniyaeyo~
It has been So long guys...
My slang today for Leigh is
Dwiddangkkada [뒤땅까다]
뒷담 [dwidang] is "back yard" [S]Yeah, something bad
To kick the b... That sounds... Strangely like a euphemism for *** sex to me.
Good guess. Good guess but it's not.
I wish that was the meaning, but it's like... "That's a good one"
Toooooo.... Quit!
Hands off.
*shakes her head*
여자들이 모이면항상 뒤땅까게 되어 있지 [yeojadeuri moimyeon hangsang dwiddangkkagae dwieo itji]
Which means: when [L]S******* [S]Yeah.
No, s**** no... [L]No?
Is it... S**** means like...
What does it mean?
I'm like "No! But what does it mean?"
S**** to shoot the breeze means to talk a lot.
Because the only thing I think of in Korean is
When women get together 떨다 (ddeolda) that's like... [S]Oh, yeah... Yes, yes, yes
All they do is just talk, talk, talk, talk, talk, talk
Yes it's talk, talk, talk, talk, talk BUT
About someone that is not in there.
So it's like...
뒤땅까다 [dwiddangkkada] means: talking someone on their back
Behind their back.
Yeah, oh yeah... ON THEIR BACK NO! Behind their back.
Yes. See?
Behind their back.
I'm like On their back.
WhUt?
What? I'm soooo... so... not...
We're so out of practice!
Is this always negative? [S]Negative.
You're ever like "Oh my God, Martina is the best. She is so pretty, she has a good fashion sense, she is really nice and she has the best pets~"
"Oh she's a b*tch, Soozee do this, I don't like about that, it's says lala"
It's different than 욕하다 [yokhada]
Which is just swearing and cursing
Like when girls...
We kind of share interest in someone else...
And somehow we kind of talk bad about them.
Don't all girls do (that)?
Are you a big badmouther?
I used to be.
What made you change your wicked ways?
I lost interest in other human beings.
All the way.
Generally like, I mean... [L]I lost interest in humanity.
What? It's like... What happened?
Today's slang is one of that I just learned myself.
It's called "fupa"
It sounds like not... Americanish.
It's like Fupa, like fupa fupa fupa.
Is it food?
I want to eat some fupa.
Let's get some fupa done.
Let'*** the fupa.
Fupa is not something anybody actively wants.
Is it an expression, like: FUPA!
No, fupa is actually an acronym.
This is kind of a difficult one.
So I am going to give you a hint:
I'm going to show you a picture.
And then you can try and guess what the acronym stands for.
Ok. [L]Ok?
F.U.P.A.
F.U.P.A. Fupa...
Yes. Are you ready?
Yes. Not really, but yes.
Whaaaaaaat? The F***** f**** f**** oh s**** wha...
Ok, wow... Is it just the general fat?
It's not quite...
Is that the... This part?
Yes.
Yes it is.
Is it just sooo... you can't... you can't see?
That's it?
You can't see your sn*****
Is that what you're saying?
You're so fupa I can't even see your junk. No?
So a guy friend taught this to me.
It stands for Fat Upper ***/P*ssy Area.
So it's not just obesity, like regular fatness.
It is specifically the area above your junk.
Between your belly button and your sn*****
That area when it gets so fat that it hangs over.
That is a fupa.
Wow... One of the world's most disgusting acronyms.
Are you traumatized now? Are you mentally scarred?
But I've never seen that around Korea.
So we don't have an equivalent word for it.
When I first became friends with other Asian people I got a question a lot like:
But you're not fat!
I'm like: Uh... I'm sorry, what?
But you're American and you're not fat!
I'm surprised.
Well that's very racist, but... Wow...
Statistically likely.
Not personally. Just statistically America is fatter than other...
You're American... Leigh is American too so... It's on your own country.
This week's question comes from Eric, he says:
수지 누나 넘 예쁘다 [Soozee, noona neomu yeppoyo] (Soozee, you are very pretty)
That's not a question.
But thank you.
His question is actually:
What does 드립 [deurip] mean?
He says he has seen it a lot on television.
Like 섹스드립 [saekseudurip] and 개그드립 [gaedeudurip] and he wants to know what 드립 means.
I think it comes form ad-lib.
You know when you improvise
something. It comes from improvising.
Mostly you use it as 개그드립
It's a comment, it's not funny, it's just trying too hard
It's not funny, but just putting it out there.
Trying hard to make it funny.
So what 섹스드립 [saekseudurip] means
it's when someone said something sexually.
Sometimes it's funny, it's not that it kills the mood or anything.
It's just like... I will always use it to my friends like:
드립 치지마 [deurib chijima]
드립 치지마 is like: don't try to make a joke...
Yeah definitely that.
Nice try...
But stop.
Yeah it's kind of like that.
Well yeah, Yeah!
Thanks so much for watching, guys.
We hope to be back more in the future, in full force
With short and purple hair.
Soozee and Leigh.
If you come acoco... If you come acrause hsoysygr
cut. cut.
Thanks fooor watching ugh f*****
Soozee...
If you come across anything you want to know more about Korean slang
while listening to music, watching kpop dramas. . .
Soozee I don't know what this means in Korean, what does it mean in Korean?
I don't know what it means in Korean.
That's something you can put in the comment section below.
And we can make SooZee answer it next week.
It's coming back.
Kind of...
