hi and welcome to MinnieMollyReviews
so today is the second day of my
MinnieReviews so the second review
I'm gonna do is of... I think it's like my all-time favourite app.. i know
it's quite sad because it's not a cool gaming app
or anything like that it's actually just BBC iPlayer
for an app, because i have to
say I I think the most thing I actually use my iPad
for is to watch stuff, i know that's really sad cause it's got amazing quality
things on it but
I just watch loads of stuff on it, so this is BBC iPlayer
and you flip it whichever way you go and so
it shows you the most featured
videos, most popular videos,
and videos for you! which is embarrassing
because the 'for you' videos for me is
'Arthur' and 'prank patrol'
from CBBC so I have to say I am an all-time fan of 'Arthur'
I know it's like for five-year-olds and things but I love it
see? everyone
at my school because we watched this when we were little we know this theme tune
anyway...
and so
then you can go onto channels
and it shows bbc1 bbc2
bbc3 bbc4 CBBC Cbeebies
BBC News and BBC parliament, so it shows you all the times
and you'll see that there are some that are highlighted
and some that are not, and the ones that are highlighted are the ones you can watch and the ones that aren't
highlighted
highlighted are the ones you can't so like for instance you can't watch
'Olympic breakfast' but you can watch 'the Olympics'
during the day it's kind of weird but
it's now quarter past 8 and
'Holby city' is on and you can watch it...look
you can watch it live
from your iPad or iPhone or iPod
and so that's a good... I think that's one of my favorite versions
versions? one of my favourite bits of 'BBC iPlayer' is
that you can watch you don't have to wait for the videos to be over to watch it
you can just watch it live which i don't think Channel 4OD
you can do that on there or on itv player
so one of the bad
features of BBC iPlayer is using the
app from your iPad you can't connect it to Apple TV
which if you use it from your phone, using it from the internet not the app
if you use just going on safari and get on BBC iPlayer
you can use it and attached to Apple TV but you can't do that
with just the app so that's really annoying
my favourites from it...
and so you go into BBC iPlayer and you can see
you favorites and you can edit your favourite and delete
ones that you don't watch anymore and you can always add them
and then at the top, here
its.. it does actually say 'search in categories'
so you can watch all these different ones there's like children's comedy drama entertainment
factual
films, learning, lifestyle and leisure, music news religion
ethics, sport, Scotland Wales
and signed, i don't know what 'signed' is so that's
the TV version of it and then it's also got radio
which is cool so there is all these radio programs that you can watch
and listen to obviously so that's
that and also on channels and stations you can also watch them
from... you can't watch it
straight off the channels a week ago
but you can watch it like from 1..2..3..4
5..6..7 NO you CAN watch it from up to a week ago
thats what i mean't to say, you can watch it up to a week ago
and then it also shows you what's on tomorrow what's on
Thursday as well, so BBC iPlayer is a great app
and the only bad thing also is that you can't watch it on 3G you can only watch on wifi
but exactly like if you just sat at home and if you don't have a TV
and things like that you can just watch BBC iPlayer
or 4OD or itv player, and there's all apps for that
in the iTunes store, so thanks for watching MinnieMollyReviews
