Q: Alright Ryan, what is the title of this project? A: So, we have
three different leadership projects and its broken up into three different videos
the first video is an introduction video, and you are introducing your leader
and the corporation you will be doing and then
the second one, you are solving like a dispute within your corporation
your leader has to handle it. and for the third one
you are kind of making an employee video, like a training video
so those are the three projects
Q: Cool. Now where did you borrow the cameras from? Did you borrow them
from the Emmanuel library or from ATIG
A: We used our iPhones but one of our group members
has a camera we
will be using for our next project but i know of several other groups that are
borrowing cameras
Q: Okay. So what class is this for? A: This is for my Leadership class Q: And you took this last semester?
A: Nope, I am taking it right now Right now? so these are videos that just happened this semester?

A: Yes Q: Okay so, are these the only three videos for the whole semester?
right now we're working on our second video
Q: Could you tell us how you went about making the video?
Q: besides using your iPhone, Such as making a script or did you do right off of the cuff?
A: I met up with all of my group members
and then we all made individual scripts for the project with our
own messages and kind of collaborated and negotiated on what kind of ideas
we wanted to use
and we wrote the script from there
and filmed it. Q: So how long do you think this took you overall?
per video?
A: Probably a couple of hours, three hours for the first one and then the second, a little more.
Q: so you're saying last the last one is more difficult A: Yeah,, definitely it gets more difficult

Q: So, if you had to do this process again, of all three videos, what would you change to the instructions of the assignment
Q: Would you change anything A: One thing that were are working on is
we are collaborating with Professor McKechnie and
giving her feedback to our teacher
on what we think needs to be changed
for the video
so the last video is supposed to be 10 minutes
now we're a thinking about shortening it
Q: Because it was too challenging to get 10 minutes of video or A: Well
I think because it is a Leadership class, it is more important to focus on the message and
not worry about editing the other stuff
I see where you are coming from
I kind of like this idea
Q: What made you want to implement this strategy
A: It's a Leadership class and a good leader communicates in different ways depending on the content or the audience of the situation
what i have found in the past of teaching this class
when i get them to present
students just present as a student and it is really hard to get them to break away from a student presentation and
so that is why there are three different videos
