Changing the pitch of the wave forms in Sytrus is a lot more complicated than say the three
X OSC when you have the course pitch modifier. I'll show you how this works in the environment.
This value here is which octave or which harmonic actually to set on. Right now it's usually
set on two. You set it lower to one and you can also set each of these individual parameters
to make it the most fine tuned pitch you can think of. Now this is actually the harmonic
modifier so when you go to three it's not actually the next octave. Four is the next
octave. And after that eight is the next octave. This is the sort of thing that you can use
when you want to make something that has like a chord. So if I were to activate the second
octave oscillator and play it on three this is what it would sound like together. It'll
actually make it a chord. The frequency offset option over here is how much in hertz it is
off of the pitch. If you're making a pretty high value you can set it so that it actually
sounds like its waving. And that's pretty much how you could change the pitch in the
Sytrus environment.
