I want you to describe your family nationality.
Your family came to America from where?
Maybe your parents, and grandparents were born here in America, or grew up in America.
That's fine. Okay. But, I want to know where your great-great-great grandparents came from.
Maybe you need to do research, asking your parents and grandparents, where they came from. That is your research, that is your job doing the investigation.
If you don't know where your mother is from, or where father is from, don't know mother, don't know father, or never met your parents, maybe.
You might want to sign ADOPTED, okay? Well, then you will need to explain that you're adopted, or never met your parents. It happens, right?
Okay, I want you to start by explaining how? By having mother's side of family here, and father's side of family here.
Ok, so separate the two sides of family on your left and right. You would be explaining your mother's side of family, then moving your shoulder over to the other side to explain your father's side of family.
Mother's side of family, start with the oldest members which are the grandparents. Where are they from?
Are they full, half-half, 1/4, strong, or a little bit?
You need to explain their nationality.
It is important to make eye gaze to a higher place on the side where the grandparents are.
Then point to the grandmother and then the grandfather. You know, make it look like a tree branching out.
Point to the grandparents then the mother, then when you are done describing that side of family, move over to the other side.
Use shoulder-shifting to move to the other side to explain the father's side of family. Grandfather, grandmother, and then the father.
Then when you are done, conclude the presentation with you. The last part is you.
I would have the nationalities carried onto me from generations from both sides of the family. Explain that you are half-half, strong, little bit, mix of many nationalities, or from many generations.
If your family is from one country, explain that your family has many generations from that country. Okay?
