>> Well first my community partners are always part of my assessment process. My community
partners are onsite and they see firsthand what the students are doing, so depending
on the depth of the project I may have them fill out an evaluation form, or I may have
them meet with myself and the students throughout the project period to talk about progress.
>> In each of my service learning projects I evaluate the students based on a feedback
sheet, a reflective questionnaire of some kind that they need to complete but also they're
directly applying course content in the process. So for instance Teilman Education Center Project
I'm on site, I see my students teaching the material that we've gone over in class, so
I'm able to evaluate whether or not they're effectively incorporating course content.
In other projects similar types of evaluations occur.
