Greetings Youtube, this is Mrt32487 here. I just wanted to show you a little bit more
of my bike. I am up here in cold Connecticut, so we are getting ready to kind of hang up
the bike and put it in storage soon probably around mid- November so I have a couple of
more weeks left to my riding season I believe. But yeah I am still kind of getting used to
this bike I passed my MSF course a little be more than 3 weeks ago so I haven't really
been going too hard and again this is a relatively new bike so I have kind of been taking it
a little bit easy trying to break it in. But today I did my first highway run on the bike.
So, I am kind of excited about that. I haven't really done a highway run at all so today
being kind of my first highway moment I am kind of glad I had that experience. It rides
really well. I only went up to about 65mph about 68mph maybe at the most. So I did not
go overly fast, but it was pretty much revving at about 6000rpms. It kind of redlines at
about 8500rpms, so a little bit more ummph left to the bike after about 65mph, so it
will probably comfortably I would say do about 75mph-80mph. Max about 90mph, and that is
when it is really screaming and pushing it. I do not plan to go any really higher than
90mph-95mph and all that kind of craziness, so I think a comfortable 75mph-80mph is where
I kind of want to be. Before when I showed the bike I just did a walkaround I didn't
kind of show some of the things that I do have on the bike. I do have this topcase.
Before I kind of showed it as just being on there, but this is kind of the space that
is in the topcase. Again I got it from Ebay, it was about $35 it wasn't too much, with
taxes and shipping and all that. But it does hold a decent amount of stuff. I have a full
face helmet here, some shoes, one set of gloves, I think I actually put another set in there.
I usually fold up my jacket and I also put that in there. So the topcase pretty much
holds a lot. I kind of leaves space for the underneath storage. So I will actually show
you that. Show you kind of how much space the Xciting 500 has. (Kind of messy over here)
Show a little bit of the space the 500 has. This is again a Kymco Xciting out of Taiwan.
It is not one of the cheap Chinese brands, but it is a good quality reputable brand.
So I am just gonna open this up real quick. (Sorry Youtube). Alright, let me close that
real quick. So I do have a sizable cavern in there. It has a little light in there,
(that's my EZ-pass, up in the Northeast we need that). It actually has a cellphone holder
and a cellphone charger there, so I can kind of put some things in there. It comes with
a little tool kit. Well this is a decent amount of space you know you can get some groceries
throw that right in there while you have the topbox kind of full. It definitely does a
good deal for commuting. So again this is my Kymco Xciting its a 500cc. Its a nice scooter
or maxiscooter and I am really enjoying it so I am going to try to get a couple more
weeks in the riding season and then I am going to hang it up. Thanks Youtube and again this
is my bike.
