Today I am going to show you a very simple Summer style mesh stitch
Row 1: Edge stitch
You need a number of stitches divisible by 2 + 1
Knit 1, yarn over, knit 2 together
Yarn over, knit 2 together
Always repeat yarn over, knit 2 together
And so on.
And you finish the row with knitting 2 together and 1 edge stitch.
Row 2: Wrong side, purl all the stitches.
If you are working in rounds you will knit every second row.
Row 3 : Edge stitch,
slip one, knit 1, pass over the slipped one,
yarn over, slip 1, knit 1, pass over the slipped one.
Yarn over.
Slip, knit and pass over.
And repeat.
And you finish the round with 1 yarn over,
knit 1 and edge stitch.
And the wrong side row again, purl all the stitches.
So, that's it. It's a wavy mesh stitch.
Usually mesh stitches tend
to slant to one direction, not this one.
Enjoy!
