I am going down the color spectrum of glass that they have available here so that we can
choose our own particular glasses for our project today. I would like to start with
an opalescent, the opalescent is actually a piece of glass where more than one color
has been used and brought together and in this piece, particular piece, you can see
there's a red, an orange and a yellow or almost gold color. That have been brought together
in the melting process it's a gorgeous glass. Its semi-opaque, which means that it's not
very easy to see through but the light can still get through; which is what you want
in a lot of your stained glass panels, in also in your leaded glass panels. I mean not
leaded, there's the leaded and also the foil glass panels. These are also really good for
mosaics. You can see here we have a lighter shade, which is more of an orange, a peach
and yellow or white mixture, so there's just so many different pieces of glass. Each one
has its own character in the colors and how they're mixed and just a wonderful selection.
