good morning eagles my name is Savannah Ridgely. Annnnd immm Joeeeey Arcarro, and on this week's
posh episode we have a behind the scenes look at towards zero a performance by del ore's
own drama class. An update on last week in sports, about wrestling and basketball. And
some fisticuffs with some muggles. Music* Are you going to towards zero? Yea! Here's
Emma Claire Brock giving us a behind the scenes look at towards zero. Towards zero is an entertaining
*** mystery by Agathie Christie who is one of the best mystery writers of all time.
We've been working on is since early September and we have a cast of eleven people, half
of them are veterans of the theater and the other half are new, first time to the stage
here at Del Oro. And its coming together quite well. Im playing Audrich Strange who is Nevel
Strange's ex wife and she is a bit of a enigma she is really mysterious and emotionally reserved
so its kind of interesting role to play. My character is Ted Ladimer he is an attractive
man who attracts women and who is in love with a married woman... She doesn't love him.
back i love the acting part of it on stage but i absolutely love the backstage shenanigans.
And hanging out with all my good theater friends. What your favorite thing about the production? This
couch is pretty nice. Yea come see the show cause your teacher will probably give you
extra credit. Who knew that being in a play could be so much fun. I think I know what
i'm signing up for next term. In other affairs here is our reporter Serina Martinez and cheyenne
Loomer bringing the scoop from last week in sports. Hi I'm serina martinez and I'm cheyenne
Loomer and its time for Del Oro sports. Last week our eagles wrapped up league play with
some wins. Girls JV and Frosh volleyball beat roseville in their last games. Girls Varsity
tennis also had a big win they beat Saint Francis in the first round of sections 9-0.
And last Friday our JV and Varsity Football players took on Rocklin on JV Don Pearnson
finished the game by intercepting the ball in the in-zone keeping the score at 21-14
to cap off a perfect 10-0 season. And varsity beat Rocklin 14-13 winning the SFltitle. Make
sure to come support our players at todays home game at 7. Varsity will be battling against
River Valley in play offs. Which means we need our black hole as big as possible! With
fall sports ending winter sports are beginning. Girls wrestling will have their first match
at Folsom on the 24th. And boys wrestling will have a skirmish here at Del Oro on the
27th. Here's more information from Maben. This year we have high hopes of winning a
section championship. We have all sorts of leaders like Jansen Engelbrecht, Zach Rubel,
Tanner Robison, Issac Blackburn, and Dillan Kainrath. Who will be leading the charge of
strong athletic group of young men who are ready to show Del Oro pride, courage. And
also on the girl side we have girls wrestling team who are starting their 4th season. We
are actually hoping to be the biggest girls wresting team in the state. If you have any
questions about wrestling in either or boy or girl, make sure to either see me in room
613 or in the wrestling room after school. Thanks golden eagles. After watching that
I bet you wanna go out for wrestling huh Serina? O yea! Well practices have already began but
you can still join. Or there's boys basketball yea for the guys that are interested heres
coach Broyles with some info. Hi this is coach Broyles coach of boys varsity basketball here.
Were really excited to get started this week and our goal is to fight for the SFL championship
this year. An we feel we will have the opportunity to do that. We have a lot of returners this
year, we have nine returning player, a lot of guys who plays significant minutes last
year. Gunna face some really stiff competition this year in our league. From two of our biggest
rivals Granite Bay & Rocklin. But hopefully we can beat them out for the championship
in the end, and we feel good and real excited to get started and looking forward to a great
year. Hoping you guys come out to watch us play. Thanks for that Broyles. Im Cheyenne
Loomer. And I'm Serina Martinez. Is it Off? I can't wait to go shoot some hoops. Never
try to shoot hoops, cause you will always miss. You know who else misses. Muggles. Music*
I challenge you Abrianna to a broom race. Bring it on Muggle! Music* Looks like another
eagle down. This time I won because she cheated she chased the snitch into the girls bathroom.
Now to Abrianna, on quidditch. Yea muggle quidditch is where you run around on brooms
and throw the quaffer through the hoop and try to catch the snitch. A we just recently
figured out that Rocklin high school has a quid ditch team and we might go against them
sometime soon. Our team meets on Wednesday's at 3:30 in Ms. Villenueve's room which is
room 802. And we have discussions about quidditch plans and then we go out and we practice our
quidditch skills. You might be thinking, well you can't fly! Well obviously we can fly cause
we just ran around campus to prove it.Alright thanks for that, back to you guys. I'm pretty
sure you lost that one Joey along with all the other ones. HA! Wrong but! If theres anyone

you to do is come by the Leadership room and grab a re-use it bag. Fill the bag up with
