As violence continues in Libya, the International Criminal Court announced Thursday
that it is investigating senior Libyan officials,
including Muammar-Al-Qadhafi, for crimes against humanity.
The Court's decision comes after the UN Security Council recently imposed
sanctions on Libya, as well as the suspension of the country
from the UN Human Rights Council.
Luis Moreno-Ocampo is the Chief Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court.
"No one can attack civilians. No one has authority to attack and massacre civilians."
"The office will investigate who are the most responsible for the most serious incidents,
and the judges will decide on whether or not to issue arrest warrants"
