Hi, I'm Steve Ledin with OpticsPlanet, and around my neck is one of our OPMOD
8x42mm waterproof binoculars.
These OPMOD Binoculars were designed in house at Optics
Planet with substantial input from you
the customer.
We realized that you wanted an 8x42mm and a 10x42mm model
in a roof prism design. The roof prism design means
that the ocular lens and the objective lens are in line with each other
and it makes for a much more compact,
sleeker,
smaller design.
The OPMOD waterproof binoculars have fully multi coated lenses, which means
that there are multiple layers of coatings on every air to lens bearing
surface
throughout the entire binocular. The roof prism itself is also phase coded, which
means that the different
light spectrums
meet in the same place for ultimately a more contrasting, sharp,
crisp, clean image.
The OPMOD binoculars come with
an easily removable ocular lens cap
as well as objective flip down lens covers that are held onto the barrels of
the objective lens
by a rubber strap. So you don't have to worry about losing these
in the field or putting them in your pocket.
The roof prism design is center focus
it has a very short focusing distance of about ten feet, which is very
important for bird watchers.
The
eye cups
have a sharp detents
that go all the way down. And an eyeglass wearer, for instance, would put these
with the eye cups down
all the way touching your glasses
and you would still get a wide field of view.
For folks that don't wear glasses
you turn out
the eye cups all the way
and you actually put your eyes touching the eye cups
and that you get a very wide field of view. The color saturation on the OPMOD
binoculars is absolutely fantastic.
The OPMOD waterproof binoculars are waterproof for one meter submerged for
ten minutes.
It's a very durable product
and the 8x42mm and 10x42mm OPMOD waterproof binocular
has a lifetime warranty.
You can only buy these at OpticsPlanet.com
I'm Steve Ledin, thanks for watching.
