Catholic University is a total package. You got a great campus here
academics is very good it helps prepare you for the next stage of life and the
community here everyone is very welcoming
especially as a freshman when you come here. I just
remember coming to campus on my Odyssey Day which is when they invite
accepted students back to Catholic to kind of
take a final look and
everyone was willing to talk to the perspective students who are very friendly,
welcoming, so that's why I ended up choosing Catholic University.
I arrived in the Spring and
it's Spring time now the campus is really beautiful
and I think that like initially attracted me I just said, "Wow, this is a great campus"
and then it's also very close to the city.
So I'm able to explore the city usually about once a week and I think that's really
a great opportunity, but you know the beautiful campus is--it feels like your not in the city
so you have the city aspect but then you don't feel like your in the city when your actually going
to classes and stuff which is really cool.
And then I also wanted to go a Catholic school and so
CUA has a very active Campus Ministry. I
was attracted to that as well
and I think it'll also give me opportunities
like professionally in future. So if any of those aspects attract other students,
they should come to Catholic.
You are offered a traditional college campus but also in a very exciting Metropolitan city of Washington
where people from all over the nation come here to work and study along with people from all over the world
so it's very exciting to meet new people from everywhere and you
build these relationships and that work with people from all over the world.
We have a fantastic college campus in a major city.
CUA offers the unique opportunity to have 185 acres of open
green space with beautiful buildings. It's still surrounded by one of the largest
Metropolitan areas in the world. Being
two stops away from Union Station
where I can go and see the President of the United States or the Speaker of the House while
at the same time going back to Catholic and seeing my friends is an incredible
opportunity that all people should be able to experience.
The campus life is
very nice like there's always something going on around campus. The academics are phenomenal.
I mean we've got lots of great student activities here
on campus. We have a great chapter of
The Knights of Columbus which I'm very involved with and then we have some great
activities to get involved with politics here in D.C. Great College Democrats, College Republicans organizations and
we get lots of great speakers here on campus that are Representatives and all sorts of active people in
politics which is a great part about D.C. You have to get involved into politics a little bit.
Once you go here you see all the perspective things that
Catholic has to offer and I honestly feel like even neighboring schools
can't even compare or compete with the things that Catholic offers for us. So,
Catholic is definitely a good school to choose.
You know, we're very close to the action and
this is a wonderful city but yet you
can come back to our campus and feel like your in a secluded environment, it's a
regular college campus. We have a quad unlike certain schools in this city. So I definitely think
think if you want to combine a traditional college experience in being in the big city you should consider the Catholic University of America.
The class sizes are small, the professors will get to know you, everybody here is very friendly and welcoming.
It's just a wonderful school.
