Reports say that people died of suffocation.
But, the bodies that were found - none of those people died of suffocation.
They died by the bullets owned by the government.
I checked up at the hospitals (Dhaka Medical, Mitford). Bullets owned by the government were found in all of the bodies.
Now, please clarify one thing for me: Islami- sorry- Shonali Bank...
They took shelter in Shonali Bank - on the roof of the balcony of Shonali Bank, also, they broke the locks and took shelter inside the bottom floor. They also took shelter in a tin shed on the small road next to the bank.
Numerous bodies were found from those areas; countless number of people, countless activists I'd say, were rescued while they were in an unconscious and/or wounded (gun shot wounds) state.
I've worked as a journalist for 13 years. I'm working in the crime field, however, I have never heard about a situation like this.
Today, I've seen that, 'humanity' and other aspects that are supposed to be amongst the police force, all of these aspects are meant to be within them, yes.
But, when there was a man, lying on the ground with gun shot wounds, the police beat him again. I felt bad about this matter.
