It's a job.
You know I realize it's someting you have to do.
But it's also another outlet for my creativity.
So I really, really like it, right?
So it's another kind of expression of my creativity especially with the brand.
There's actually a lot of work behind the scenes.
I mean, the photoshoot stuff is about 4 or 5 hours.
There's got to be, at least, maybe about 40, 50 hours occuring up to it.
And it's not the 4 or 5 hours that counts.
It's actually the 40, 50 hours that really counts.
So, each of the outfits is styled.
We got exactly what we wanted.
We get the whole theme, the place, the location, everything.
And so, the 4 or 5 hours. It's like the realization of all the effort put behind it.
That's what takes the most work.
The first collection was very well received and this is the shoot for the second collection.
It's longsleeves, and it's coming out in July and September.
So we're doing the shoot for that.
The colors are more vibrant.
They're more colorful.
It's actually really nice, actually.
With the apparel JUZD, the way it is with JUZD, is it's totally organic and natural and it's not--it's not kind of a copy of anything else.
So I wanted our shoot to be totally unique.
The models for me, I don't want the high-fashion, the typical models you see in a magazine.
I want someone that looks good, but is a little bit edgy, a little bit different.
With my models I like it when you can't really tell what kind of ethnicity they are.
He's extremely hard and very picky, but Jing, he just likes dark eyes and clear skin.
So, that's what we're doing: dark eyes and clear skin.
All our shoots we want to focus on just a blank wall, on the theme,
on something, you know, that can be kind of stamped as JUZD. JUZD photography.
And a lot of the poses that I do with them is that I go with a surreal feel.
So, they'd be doing something that's not usually normal and a little bit exaggerated,
but on a really crazy angle, so it's just, like, has the surreal feel to it.
I think a lot of the great artists, they are not confined to one kind of medium.
They do different mediums, because a lot of principles repeat themselves over and over and over again.
So that's why kind of picking up the camera is natural.
It's just kind of natural, I just see it as creating another shirt.
Same principles, same things, same feeling.
