Hi there, Dawn Damico from YourResearchDiva.com And in this quick video, I’m gonna talk
about What’s the Most Effective Online Marketing Strategy? And I’m going to give you one
simple tip that you can use in to kinda map out of one portion of your roll content marketing
strategy and then finally I’m gonna talk just a little bit about the burning question
that everybody has about what’s the best place to market online?
Now, first of all every online business knows that they need to market in order to be successful
but the most successful and most effective online businesses also understand that when
they incorporating elements of storytelling into their overall marketing plan that’s
gonna make the whole thing a lot easier. You see, marketing isn’t just about making fancy
ads and pretty banners and Facebook Ads and Google AdSense, you know maybe Ads in ofline
publications like magazine and newspapers. Marketing really has more to do with getting
your message out there in a way that could actually draw your costumers to you. You want
to keep your customers engaged and make them interested in coming to you and being attracted
to your product to your service or whatever message you have to offer. Now the problem
is that most people when they started putting together a content marketing strategy and
online marketing is that they get stocked on all the how’s and the what’s and the
why’s. How do I make a good video? What camera should I be using? Which article directories
are the best where to put my articles on? What’s should my blog look like? What’s
the header gonna look like? and all that kind of stuff. And I get caught up in all those
little details and one of two things tend to happen either they’re so afraid of making
quote unquote wrong decision that they ended up not doing anything or they tried to do
everything and ends up with no real plan and they ended up spreading themselves so thin
that they really not affected at all. So, there was a guy his lastname is Manelo
and the book idea writers. He said it’s not about the platform, it’s what your doing
with people and how they’re behaving and how does two things intersect. So, basically
what he’s saying is it’s not important where you’re doing your marketing. You really
have to come back down to the basics and look at your content. You know for everthing that
you’re putting out there to the world to draw people to you in your message you have
to ask yourself. What are you really saying? And what purpose does that specific marketing
piece have and what do you really want the upcome to be? So, always ask yourself those
questions whenever your putting something together and sometimes it take a little planning
but it so worth it. Now, let me talk about one area of your content marketing strategy
that you kinda put those purpose driven content pieces to work for you. Like I said you want
to have a game in mind and for most people that ususally means that they want something
to be opt-in to build their list or they want them to buy something. Now, if they’re opt-in
you wanna make sure that all those backend pieces are already put into placed because
gathering that email address is not the end of your marketing job online right?
So, make sure that you have your Squeeze page up, make sure that it works, make sure that
the opt-in box is connected to your email management system such as Aweber or IContact
or whichever one your using and then be sure to plan up the content for your Drift Campaign
that your customer is going to use once they opt-in and this is something that a lot of
people missed. And if you take sometime to plan this out that email drift campaign those
initial emails that you send can be actually be weave together and match the same fashion
that the story is, so you build up relationship with your new customer you keep them engaged
and you plan up your series of emails so it’s almost like at the end on that email, it’s
almost like you’re getting to the end of the chapter and can’t wait to turn the page
to see what else is being said. So, you want that kind of fact ideally so that when they
get that message in their inbox that they got mail and its from you that they gonna
want open it. So, keep that in mind as you writing out your series of emails, they don’t
have to be long, they don’t have to be cumbersome, just make them engaging, ad make them what
your customers looking for atleast something out so that way in next email is anticipated
and they will open it. Now, the final that I wanna talk about is
the burning question everybody has about, Ok that’s all great but what platform is
the best platform online for me to do my most successful marketing? That’s some people
would say that’s the million-dollar question but isn’t. You know, there’s many different
venues that are very very effective and you should use more than one, you know article
marketing in video, marketing in blog, post in Podcast and paid Ads whatever your using
you want to mix it up and you get your message out to as many people as you want but first
and foremost you have to take a look at what your saying. Keep it simple! Have a message
with a purpose and know what you want that outcome to be, because at the end of the day,
the best platform for your content marketing strategy is the content itself. The venues
are just the delivery system. So, I hope that helps you out.
