Bailey Mackey joins us now to discuss sport.
Only half of the Rugby World Cup tickets have been sold,
so we are behind schedule. Should we be concerned?
Not at this time, but if sales don't pick up in coming months
then we should be concerned.
Martin Snedden has said
that they are achieving the goals they have set.
So not at this time, but we need to sales to pick up.
The big game tonight is the Blues vs Reds.
They are both at the top of the table.
Who do you think will take it?
The Blues...
- Reds, mate, Reds.
No, no, the Blues,
because only one NZ team has played the Reds and they won.
We have seen how well the Blues are performing,
but the Reds are still testing the NZ teams.
But if the Blues don't stop Genia and Quade Cooper
they will be in hot water won't they?
But Quade can't tackle.
- So run at him?
Yes, run at him.
But Stephen Brett and Luke McAlister will find the gaps
to lead them to victory.
In netball news. The Mystics will play the Magic this weekend.
Can the Magic come back from last week's loss against the Firebirds?
I think the Mystics will take it,
because it's easier to recover from a win, than a loss.
The Magic lost last week to the Firebirds
so I think the Mystics will take it for the first time.
That's great. I agree with that.
In league news.
They had a terrible start, but going well.
Why are the Warriors winning all of a sudden?
They are focused a lot more now.
They have only one player who plays like James Malone and Brent Seymour.
They will lead the team.
They aren't in any national teams, like NZ, NSW or Queensland
so at this time of year when the national teams are playing
we really see how good our team is.
Bailey Mackey, thank you for your time.
