Whoever says lightning doesn't strike in the same place twice, hasn't met this lucky Texas
rodeo clown. "Casey Wagner was taking part in 'Rednecks
with Paychecks,' where drivers go off roading. But then a storm rolled in so Wagner ducked
over a tree for cover. Bad Idea." (Via TXCN) "What I remember is just a loud boom and it
dropped me to my knees and then it hit me again. When I got hit, it was just two big
ol' flashes and then sparks went everywhere." (Via KTVT) "This is by far the closest to
death I've ever been." (Via WFTS)
A nurse nearby kept 31-year-old Wagner calm until he was taken to a hospital a few miles
away, to be treated.
"Luckily people nearby helped him into an ambulance. He lost some feeling but is now
doing okay and they don't think lightning will ever hit that guy again." (Via Fox News)
Remarkably, Wagner didn't suffer any major injuries. Doctors expect him to be back to
normal later this week. (Via New York Daily News)
