Hi, I'm HP and this is "Awesome Underground."
"Everything in Slow Motion" is a band that was sent to me by one of my good friends in
indie radio. They are a progressive rock band. They have great transitions and dramatic,
atmospheric instrumentals. This band is really good at evoking feeling throughout entire
songs, which I think is great. The production quality on "Laid Low" is fabulous. Someone
obviously had a clear vision on how to maximize on this band's sound and they went for it
and it just sounds wonderful. Whoever produced this album, you did a great job. I think my
favorite track on "Laid Low" is "Capella" because it conveys very strong emotion. This
body of work has a great flow and order to it. I love the way that the opening track
feels like a beginning. It took me a bit to warm up to this band because I had some issues
with the vocalist. I will say that it's not his voice. His voice is good and I think you
will enjoy it but I'm gonna expand more on that in my blog because I'm a lot better at
writing constructive criticism than I am speaking it. So, I'm gonna do that. If you're interested
in reading my in depth opinion on this album, I won't just be expanding on what I didn't
enjoy about the vocalist. I'll be hitting positive points and just expanding a little
bit more on my opinion. If you didn't know that I had a blog, I do one for pretty much
every video where I expand more on what I said in the video, because you can't always
fit everything you want to say about a band or an album or really anything in 3 minutes
or less and that's your attention span. So, the link for that will be in the description
below. If you liked this video, please be sure to give it a thumbs up. If you like my
face and you wanna see more of it, hit the subscribe button. If you're new to my channel,
I do underground music reviews. I've been doing "Warped Tour" band reviews. I love you
guys, and I will see you soon.
