Once you've done the starting stitch,
doing the quad stitch is just like doing the square stitch,
only you just have one extra strand on each side.
We're going to bring all our strands straight across,
so we'll bring this top strand down and this bottom strand up.
This top strand down and this bottom strand up.
Then I'm going to turn it 90 degrees to make this easier.
Now these are our top strands and these are our bottom strands.
I'll bring this top strand down,
over, under, over, under, and pulling through.
I'll bring this bottom strand up,
over, under, over, under, then pulling through.
Bring this top strand down, over,
under. Let me try that again.
Going over, under, over, under, and pulling through.
Finally I'll take this bottom strand,
go over, under, over, under, then pull through.
Now I'll just pull on all eight strands.
That gives us a nice tight stitch.
Just keep repeating that until you're ready for the finishing stitch.
